I don't think Dak can walk. Maybe Jerry can roll him over to another team?

I’m so sick of the dak hate....

It’s dumb and it’s unwarranted

You can’t find top 10 qbs on the street in their prime, of which he is one....

If Dak had this exact same game you guys would be talking about how awful the PHI secondary is, that his receivers bailed him out, that a lot of those stats came in trash time, and any other e cause you could think of.
But in fairness, he would have not done anything till they were down 20+ or halfway thru the 3rd. So it's not the same.

to the Saints!

Or Rams, Steelers

You don’t need him, Jerry! Give the man a get out of Hell free card!
Ridiculous comment. First, why are you saying this now - because the offense finally had a single outstanding game without Dak? Second, even of the team wanted to move on from Dak, it wouldn’t make sense to just “let him walk”. You would sign and trade, or at least sign to the franchise take and trade. He is a commodity, and you don’t just give up a commodity without getting a return.

And yet they were still smart NOT to give Cousins 87 MIL.

not even remotely. It wound up costing them just as much of not more than his guarantees would’ve. They botched things every which way

DAL can tag and trade.

Yes. They botched the entire situation. Just like DAL is currently slow walking themselves into.
Then MIN decided to enter into this fustercluck and give Cousins an 87 MIL contract. I think it’s fully guaranteed.

You still talking about 2017!

Risen most likely taking comfort in the fact that the Eagles lost with Hurts today to that Wentz can potentially keep his starting job in Philly after all. Wentz played Philly out of the playoffs before the back up QB could come in and save their season this time.

Dak had a losing record before all the OL injuries , and a losing record last year , so am not sure what makes Dak worth 40 mil .

CZ believes all our starters are all pro caliber players. Dak is not $40M per YR material but is not stopping some from lobbying for that type of contract extension.

No, the Cowboys had a losing record. Dak and the offense scored 32 ppg,, but the defense gave up 36 ppg. That was the culprit.

Letting Dak walk is the worst thing you could do.

If you can’t get a fair contract signed with him, at least tag and trade him for picks.....
I think teams would wait till he is free agent, so they dont have to give up picks.
Wouldnt hurt to try though.
But jones boys will sign dak regardless, unless dalton takes them to nfc championship game. or further.

it was. It’s over. They gave him another 66 fully gtd for 2 more years. I don’t think WAS shoulda matched that contract. Saying they shoulda signed him long term prior to.

The difference between those games and today is, dalton starting moving the ball and scoring before they were down 28-3.
Came back took the lead by halftime, and was never behind again.
That is a big difference.

If Dak had not been injured, the cowboys would have already clinched the division and a seed better than 4th.
