Kellen was made OC after one year of coaching experience lol, and that doesnt happen anywhere but dallas.I don’t get the hate on this one.....he was due an extension here anyways if we wanted him back regardless of the boise job wanting him or not want him. If he underperforms on the job we fire his *** and tear up his contract- it’s not like this has salary cap implications.
He lost dak by week 4.
he deserved to come back after a year with a new coach and get another crack at it with the franchise qb and with mm and him going over a year of film to see what they liked and what they didn’t and how to adjust. With injuries he has us above average on offense at around 12 in efficiency.
can he be better? Sure. Can he be creative without injury or something forcing his hand? Sure. But overall he’s been pretty good and deserved to come back. Don’t really get all the griping.
10 years 100 million !Wonder about the details of the contract.

He doesnt understand or value the run game, he wants to pass pass pass.
His run blocking schemes are awful, and the run stats are always ignored, people just look at passing stats.
Dallas had the # 1 offense at first of year, but were 1-3 and should have been 0-4 but people just ignore that and want to talk about the 500 yds passing.
Blame has been put on elliot and the OL, but to me it is more on kellen.
He should be passing game coordinator, not OC.
I dont think it's about Moore himself as opposed to the situation feeling similar to the one of Garrett...which people arent going to line up to repeat.I’m shocked by the tone of this site...Moore is young and needs to be here if he wants to be. I can’t believe people are upset with the move....
I thought he was referring to his new home.that is what I was thinking too.
he did the same thing when JG interviewed for job with ravens and another team. Jerry gave him big raise and extension.
This is just a repeat of the JG adventure , at some point kellen will take over as HC and go for ten years or more.
kellen said they are building something special lol
yeah we saw some of that specialness last year and this year kellen.
KM played JJ like a drum.
Moore is green, but maturing at an exponential rate.. good move by the FO IMO.https://www.thescore.com/ncaaf/news/2083399
The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a multi-year contract extension with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, the team announced Saturday.
With his new deal, Moore won't pursue an opportunity to become the next head coach at Boise State - his alma mater. The 32-year-old was viewed as a favorite to lead the Broncos after Auburn hired Bryan Harsin in December.
"We are building something special here in Dallas," Moore said in a statement. "I am thankful to the Jones family and Mike McCarthy for providing me the opportunity to coach these special players. I am excited for us to put it all together and finish the job."
Dallas ranks 12th in total offense and 16th in point per game this season under its young assistant despite losing several key players to injuries.
Quarterback Dak Prescott led the league in passing yards before suffering a compound fracture and dislocation in his right ankle in Week 5.
Moore joined the Cowboys in 2018 as quarterbacks coach, and the club promoted him to offensive coordinator the following year. Head coach Mike McCarthy kept him on staff when the franchise hired the veteran sideline boss in 2020.
McCarthy is also expected to retain his job regardless of whether Dallas qualifies for the postseason in Week 17.
That right there has caused massive head shaking, and confusion from me over the years...lolLol wow..
I don’t hate it but I don’t love it.
Just Jerry forcing himself to be stuck with a coach that he won’t get rid of because he’s cheap when it comes to coaches.
