This was evident a couple of weeks ago. Hurts will not be the LT answer at starter in Philly.

Their fans are delusional and think Wentz is gonna write a 20 mil check to the eagles
Yeah, how would that work? If Wentz wanted out so bad, he could just redo his contract and PHIL could lower that cap hit? Is that possible?

That’s where I’d go if I was him, they have a really good OLine and defense & this draft is loaded with WRs [again].

That’s def his best landing spot with Reich. Million dollar question is tho how do they work around the cap hit of a trade like that.

I wanna know too. If he take the trade and the new team accepts his contract why would there be a cap hit?

Wentz has issues— but there were plenty of eyebrows raised when Roseman drafted Hurts. That move does not convey confidence in your franchise QB you just signed to a mega-deal

Yes, these are pro athletes. But they are still humans lol... not everyone is motivated by competition and Wentz certainly did not respond well to someone looking over his shoulder lol

Would not surprise me at all if he ends up with Reich in Indy, and actually has a turnaround. He is more talented than what he showed this season— and Philly has just been brutal to him.

Indy is far more his personality than Philly lol

Philly already gave him a lot of money in terms of signing bonus. That money is divided over the remaining years of his contract but if he gets cut or traded, it hits the cap all at once. His new team can't take on salary dollars on their cap that they didn't pay.

I believe the specifics are that they gave him a $50m signing bonus in 2019, of which $17m has already hit the cap.

There is a $10m roster bonus for next year that I don't completely understand. Based on what I am reading, it also would go against Philly leaving the total around $43m.
