Because that's the underlying issue here. He's criticizing Lawrence because some suggested the Cowboys should tank for Lawrence and get rid of Dak.

I never figured you were this naive.
Sure.

You don’t have to.

That’s the logical inverse of the claim you’re making.

No it's just some trying to put words in my mouth. Here's an example. I can say that whatever color car there are the most of and then those people come back and say but there are other color cars. I didn't say there wasn't.

I have no problem repeating things 2 or 3 times but when I've repeated them 10 times that's more than what anyone should have to.

I'm sorry but you're questioning Lawrence for silly reason and not trusting Gil Brandt's mind?

The way you guys look at NFL QB's is not at all how an NFL team would evaluate this player.

That Ohio State game is going to be meaningless and it wasn't even that bad. He just did nothing spectacular because his defense couldn't stop the run.

You draft players based on Talent/Potential/ and Skill.. He's about as clean of a prospect as it gets.
Sacked and fumbled at least twice. That not "not bad". Some poor throws in a pathetic attempt to get his team back in the game.

If Andy did that people would be up up in dat you know what.

I'm with you!

If people can;t muster up some patience to briefly review or clarify their stance..they shouldn't be here.

You'd be surprised how many users actually start with page 1 and start reading the pages. Now if there are already a zillion pages they don't but there are some that do read the pages so they get a good idea of what being said. When I go on a thread and there's only 3 or 4 pages I read them.

Charles Woodson, CB for Michigan back then.
But winning the Heisman made Charles delusional. He thinks he's an English Lord with those ascots. Cracks me up every time I see him and I can only wonder what those people working with him think. One Monday night, he had matching velvet shoes and I thought 'yep, right there is a man comfortable in his own skin'.

With all the talk earlier in the season that the Cowboys should tank to possibly get a crack at Lawrence and all the talk about Lawrence going to be the next great QB, yet with so many people trying to make all their proclamations about Lawrence you would think he would have been an automatic lock for and gotten college football biggest award, the Heisman Trophy. But he didn't. As always, I'll wait and see what a player does in the NFL before making any proclamations.

Gee when Zimmer was the Cowboys DC the Cowboys went to the NFC championship game and lost that game by spotting the 49ers a quick 14 points off turnovers to start the game. I'm tired of this back and forth with you. If you want to think the NFL has now turned into arena football with no defense go ahead. Think what you want but you'll NEVER convince me that you're right. Don't reply because I'll just ignore it.

In today's wide-open, offense overload NFL, most of the championship games recently have been moderate scoring affairs.

All of these QB's are risks including Lawrence but that "best prospect since Peyton Manning" sticks to him so he will go 1st. He also has been in the forefront on issues including let's play football and an owner loves that.

Every team takes their chances just as WAS did with Haskins and then decided to move on. AZ did that with Rosen and then MIA did the same thing. The fans expect their team to go for that guy when they don't have him except the Packers fans and they expect them to do that when they do have him.

CIN, MIA and LAC had no choice last draft. JAX, maybe NYJ, ATL, CAR, WAS have no choice, they have to take the risk, it is expected and if it doesn't work, do it all over again.

Every owner, GM, HC knows what the fans know, they have to have that guy and they are not ready until they do have him. And they don't care what the team has to do, the Skins fans weren't complaining when Snyder gave up the draft for Griffin.

Never saw Lawrence play before last week. I noticed his mechanics weren't so good. Throws alot off his back foot. Maybe it was the rush, but he looked like he didn't want to stand and take a hit.
Maybe it was a business decision he was making, lol.

Great prospect and plenty of film too. The fact that you have 3 years of great games and a few OK ones to nitpick is only a benefit to him. Much better than being a one year wonder with nothing but perfect games

Id need to study more but right now my top QB is Wilson from BYU. I watched Lawrence several times just never have seen a reason to say he was can't miss the next Manning. I'll admit haven't seen much of Fields probably not enough to form an opinion on him. When I see Wilson I see an NFL QB who can make NFL throws.
