Kyle Pitts will be our #1. I am having this vision that Jerry picks this guy. I may flip my lid but that what I'm seeing. And Shultz was one of the few bright spots this year
Looked at 5 mocks --projections are wide ranging - 17, 13, 11, two 8s

Shultz is good but Jarwin is way more explosive after the catch and that's why he'll be the number 1 TE next year.

No problem with Schultz and feel like he really stepped his game up when his number was called this season. Not saying he's a world beater at the position but he did silence some of his doubters that question if he belonged in the league.

Let Schultz play out this upcoming season and see if it'll turn into a second contract with Dallas.

shultz got interfered with trying to come back to it it was subtle grab but it did keep him from at least trying to break it up, no call ..mara and NFL NY HCs made sure of it..
Still covering for a 9 year veteran that threw a duck jump ball on 3rd Down to lead athletic Receiver on the field

Andy is Pathetic

One of the biggest bright spots this season was the emergence of Dalton Schultz, who has proven to be a formidable TE and of starter quality. No reason to waste a top draft pick on a TE, give Schultz the offseason to improve even further and we got ourselves a reliable TE.

He is definitely starter material. Formidable? Not seeing that one. Jarwin and Shultz will make a very solid one/two punch at TE. Definitely relieves the need to spend a high pick on one.

If the defenders have 2nd round grades or close to it then I’d be ok with it.

Id hate it but I can understand it.

Anyone think Leatherwood can play guard? I need to watch more of him.

It’s sad to think about but I don’t think we will be able to add any impact to this roster. Status quo incoming.

I think they’ll just sell McCarthy having a full offseason and a healthy roster. We’ll buy it too.

Great NEWS!!! That almost guarantees that we will have a good draft.

Why the long face? I guess your hero Dalton is gone and its back to Dak and the #1 offense in football eh? Rough times for you. WE will certainly miss all those ducks and game losing picks in crunch time from your hero Dalton. LOL

Maybe you can follow him to his next team?

He’s slower than Witt was his last season with us. He’s great for a possession guy in a 2 TE set but we need a playmaker at TE. Pitts.

I would not advocate drafting Pitts unless we then force Jerry to draft defense in every round after.. I like what Schultz did for us this year and I am anxious to see what he and Jarwin can do as a 1-2 punch next season. Bringing in Pitts does ZERO to help the worst defense in franchise history.. I can't get behind anything that doesn't help in that department. There's always a question when I watch guys in college who are simply a grown arse man playing with boys .. How will they fare when EVERYBODY is a full grown man? Pitts is skinny and is GOING to get manhandled physically until he fills out. I didn't know just HOW skinny he was until I saw him in street clothes in the games he missed after the concussion. Dude is built like a 6'6" cornerback.

Schultz gave us one of the best seasons of TE play we’ve had since probably 2013/2014 Witten. I know someone brought up a failed block by him on a CeeDee screen pass, but Game 15, he laid a block down on the CeeDee jet sweep that I haven’t seen in awhile. He’s a player.

We can’t, or at least shouldn’t, waste a 1-5 pick on a TE this draft. It’s not the weak point especially since CeeDee is the main target between the hashes in this offense.

The Defense need a serious injection of real talent to bring it up to just an average level. I mean, KC wouldn’t have but maybe 8-9 wins with what we trotted out there this year on defense. It’s too much to overcome.

No need to spend more money or draft capital, Schultz and Jarwin are a nice combo. I think Jarwin has more speed, but they look interchangeable.

Interested in what they'll do once Jarwin comes back. Gives us some flexibility in 2 TE sets we can run or pass.

He really remind me of witten from 6 years ago. He gets a lot of tough yards after contact. Don’t bring In another tight end , Jarwin is that player, he showed his athletic ability.

Cowboys paid Jarwin longterm starter money. He was set for a breakout season before the injury.

Schultz has really improved a lot and we need two good TEs in this Offense anyway.

They can both play similiar snaps to stay fresh.

I would also keep Bell as hes the best pure blocking TE in the NFL.

Im perfectly fine passing TE in the Draft and go with these 3.

Lmao trading Gallup would be a horrible move

Frankly Pitts is more of a wide receiver than a tight end anyway.. If we did draft him it would not inhibit the offense any to move Gallup. In fact it would make it more lethal in the red zone. Cause Pitts will "Moss" a MFer in a heatrtbeat.

A "formidable TE" would have gone after that last pass. Instead he looked it into his underhanded arms...whoops where did it go?

Dam straight! That's what I'm talking about!

Schultz was very soft and complacent on that last pass in my book. "formidable"? Please.
