Totes jelly of the Rams defense
It’s telling that Goff is not starting.
Colts played really well on D; Allen and the Bills should realize their cakewalk run to the AFC title will not be easy.
1st game of NFL 2020 Playoffs - GREAT
Rivers had a good game. He isn't 25 any more but he played as well as he could at this stage in his career. Colts were the better team imo but the Bills played the bigger moments better and just about manned it out. You could say Rivers overthrew the receiver by a few inches in the first half but he got hands to the ball and dropped it. Allen was very good except for taking that sack at the end and unnecessary fumble which they were very fortunate to retrieve. The story of the NFL...you got your franchise QB and then your backup who should be working at a franchise BK.
It was clear in the pictures. Some people need an eye test!
It was close but the knee was up and not making contact with the ground before the hand made contact with his jersey. It was pieced together in super slow motion for the avoidance of any doubt. The commentators who were impartial had it that way as well. The ball was stripped before he went down again and there was a clear recovery by the Bills. A fantastic defensive play but the officials bottled it. Thankfully the Bills didn't get screwed over by the decision.
Unless there was another angle that clearly showed the knee was still down then I hold my hands up but from the three different angles shown the knee was up above the ground before contact was made to him with the hand. They bottled it and wanted a grandstand finish.
I agree in that it was close but it was still clear that the knee was up. So it was a fumble with a clear recovery even though it's a horrible and unfortunate way to end the game - that was what happened. It looked pretty clear to me but it seems like in the playoffs they tend to stay with the call on the field unless it’s blatantly obvious. It was very close and too close to change the call on the field in their opinion.
