I understand and pretty much agree that he played some part... however, that offense (and Wentz) was never the same once they left.I understand that Peterson was never the same after Difilipo and Reich left. I truly get it. But he was still the head coach. Frank Reich was still apart of his coaching staff. So we can't sit here and give him zero credit for that Super Bowl.
That’s crazy. And after winning a SB not that long ago.
...lol....that's what I said. Now watch the guy they get, they wish they kept Pederson.Just came across my text feed. Three playoffs years and a Super Bowl.
Howie won the divorce lmao
He does....but at the same time....if you take away Wentz's 2017 year.....he's really been playing like the same guy from last year to his rookie season.I understand and pretty much agree that he played some part... however, that offense (and Wentz) was never the same once they left.
Not to mention that Reich has Indy playing very well.
I know. He will get the Jets job if he wants it.
Wow .... Holy crap, wait so are they keeping Wentz then?
Exactly. It wasn’t accountability... it was most likely Howie and Lurie wanting to try to salvage their expensive QB who can’t play. That isn’t accountability. That is meddling with what the coaches are trying to do to win.
OMG, is that a real statue that's supposed to be taken seriously?
Doug Peterson fired as Eagles HC!
Please hire Garrett.
Plus one weekend a month on the yacht. If Jerry had a coach with that resume in 5 seasons, he would have given him a lifetime contract, put him in the Ring of Honor already, and named a section of the stadium after him
that statue is cursed.OMG, is that a real statue that's supposed to be taken seriously?
"Donated by Bud Light"
Doug altered the offense last year to a big set with 2 and 3 TE and multiple backs quick often.
Not much was made of this at the time because Philly had no WRs but they actually made their playoff push with TEs and Backs as the primary targets of Wentz passes.
Wentz actually played better us this system.
Then interestingly they went away from that plan almost immediately and spent the off-season trying to add big play WRs and trade Ertz.
Wentz definitely didn't excel with the deeper targets and big play shots being hit or miss.
