What have we learned? Please stop drafting players with known injuries.

Jaylon got away with freak athletic ability in college however since his injury lacks mobility and has zero football intuition

LVE is one good hit away from a career ending injury if not worse. Think he plays scared knowing this.

Sean Lee....gifted player with great knowledge and instincts however his body let him down. Such a shame as his career could have been beastly but he needs to retire and coach. He's out there just to fill a spot at this point

However a good Dline could make them look better. Better not good...

I didn't read the article because I'm actually working, but I agree with the sentiment. LVE is not only medicine on the field, but he's also rarely on the field.

Two solid talents coming out with injury concerns we used 1st and 2nd round picks on that have added to our questionable high drafts picks we’ve made on defense this era.

And cumulatively have been major contributing factors preventing this franchise from more success without a better defense.

Get some bigger bodies up front and you'll see vastly improved LB'er play. Simple as that.

I was about to say the same thing. Also, add in a scheme the defense understands from the start would greatly help. That said, they just might not be good enough.

I mean you are splitting hairs arguing which one is worse IMO. Smith was probably "worse" but neither was all that good.

Again, it's amazing we are sitting here having this discussion after what we saw in 2018.

That's also possible. We have seen both players play at a high level in the past though. Hopefully Quinn can go over what they were doing then and put them in a place to succeed rather than just forcing a scheme on everyone.
