There are some rumblings that the Dolphins may draft or trade for another QB. Why in the world would you take a lesser player at the most important position? I don't care if Dak makes market level money, if he gives us the best chance to succeed. As for Zack Wilson, he is an unproven commodity, where there are so many busts at the position every year. Team trades away Dak and they might be picking in the top 10 for the forseeable future.

Because I don't believe Tua is a lesser player and I look to capitalize on that situation.

At worst Tua will be a guy who can get Dak like results and we can move on at the end of his deal and draft another if he's not one of the best.

IF you want to get rid of Dak that's fine but do it for a rookie or Deshaun Watson. These Andy Dalton and Matt Stafford signings just aren't going to replace Dak....it is what it is. Stats-wise over the past few years, they're pretty much the same player. Toss out the high and the low for each. And it's a bunch of high 90s years. Dak gets more on the ground. Stafford probably has a worse team around him.

Yeap, who is cheaper in the near term?
Dak, Jameis, Stafford. To me Dak is my third pick in this group of players. Again not anti-Dak. I am anti paying a good player franchise QB money. It will not work out. The team will be immediately up against the 8 ball as they say.
