I get that, but with the dead money, what can they really do w the cap savings? It's a salary dump. Happens in the NBA all of the time but the Rams are a little too generous with their draft picks.
Well I guess those thinking we can't get 2 firsts for dak are wrong....
Yep. Lions won this trade and so did texans.
Obviously they just don't value first round picks all that much and are more into getting players who can play now and don't need developmental time. You have to pair this up with the Ramsey trade. It won't sting now but they are going to pay a huge price in the future.
That’s a lot to give up for Stafford. I mean the Rams gave up a boatload for Ramsey. Are they drafting the next few years?
I'd gladly take that cap hit for those picks. He's on the books for two years if he doesn't pan out. Long term this is great for the Lions and horrific for the Rams. I don't see how they get out of this unless they hire Will McClay.
Yeah, been nothing but green pastures for five years. Some of you sheep are made for 8-8.true. Might wind up a perennial contender
If that loser Stafford

they are ready to win a superb owl and they knew they couldnt with goff so they traded for a player that they think they can win with
I don't think fans realize the Rams just got out of $43M guaranteed over the next 2 years still owed to Goff, a guy they no longer believed in, and it would appear the Lions made them pay (in draft picks) to do it.But now they have taken a huge contract burden off of themselves for future seasons
Could you imagine if the Cowboys didn't have a 1st round pick for 7 straight years?
I would start cutting myself.
