Lol, fans care about wins and losses and yes they have their favorite players but it is often times good to be objective and not be blinded by your personal feelings when evaluating talent. You can hope all you want but Dak is who he is a middle of the road QB that needs a lot of weapons around him. Put him on the Tampa team and yea he may win but the winning won be because of Dak, rather the winning will be inspire of him.
What are you talking about? You make no sense.

All of them had very good Defenses when they won those SBs as well. Plus, they were surrounded with very good Olines and weapons to throw to. Let's not forget that.
And in your opinion Dak can win without offensive line and a Defense? If not then what exactly are we arguing about? He isn’t worth what he is asking. Hell Mahomes was overpaid and we will see the effects of that when they start trying to replace veterans with cheap draft picks and free agents.

It's going to be hard to build a team with his huge cap hit if he gets re-signed, and the disappointing thing is he doesn't care.

I'm ready to move on from him and find someone else. He is simply not a team player.

Thats silly. The dude made like 5 million for 4 years and never missed a game. It’s not his fault the FO stuck with JG and could not build a team. If I’m him I want to get paid.

Dak might could have won if he was TB's QB. I think most of us have said that if everything is good enough around him he would have a shot. But its so hard to get everything to fall together and then have your opposition playing with the equivalent of our Oline due to injuries.

meh will get paid, the argument here is does the pay support handicapping the team? Yea I get JG was a bad coach but it’s using that as an excuse to wreck the team with an albatross contract for a QB that is very much a middling talent is stupid.

Is he handicapping the team? Remember when they quit for like 3 games after he went down? He’s the leader of this team. Jaylon, Dlaw, Zeke, and paying every Olineman top dollar is what’s killing the team too. Zeke should be rushing for 1,600 yds per season. Dlaw should be getting at least 10 sacks per year at those salaries. And Jaylon should be Lavonte David. Our FO sucks.

Oh please would the outcomes of those games been any different with Dak? Highly doubt it.

I've been saying for months that Dak should settle for no more than $35 million/season, preferably in the low 30s. If Dak demands higher, tag and trade him for draft picks. Regardless, I would rather have Dak than any QB who will become available through free agency or any QB in the draft who would take several years to groom.

If you have a better idea, let's hear it.
Not going to get a defense paying Dak $35-40M per year. Especially when paying Zeke $14M/yr, Cooper $20M/yr, Lawrence $20M/yr, and Jaylon Smith $10M/yr.
Not sure you noticed but Bucs D doesn't have many expensive/ highly paid players. This is why I never understand the argument .......we can't pay/buy defense if we pay Dak. Todd Bowles's coaching and scheme won the game, not a number of expensive defensive players.

No QB could overcome the loss of both Tackles.....Dak should know that.

Who knows? But I would feel better. Once we lost Tyron and knew Collins wasn’t coming back it was over anyway. That’s just ridiculous to deal with which we saw last night.

I would not blame the season on Knight and Steele. Plenty of players much more worthy of blame. Knight and Steele played decent.

I thought they did too. Philbin is an outstanding coach. But Collins and Tyron are elite when healthy.

That was the Super Bowl tonight.

It has nothing to do with lower tier QBs like Dak and Dalton getting similar regular season results.

Coming from a QB guru like you, that means a lot!!!! :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao:

There is a salary cap and if the Cowboys pay Dak 40 million they wont be able to build a defense. As it stands right now they can't even tag him without restructuring contracts.

Defenses arent built through FA. 20 extra million wont build you a defense.

Tagging Dak again would be a mistake. But again, that is no fault of Dak's if he gets tagged.

And he certainly wasnt the fool that paid Zeke 15 million and Jaylon 12 million.

Exactly it was defense and if the Cowboys pay Dak they wont be able to build a great defense. Your right Dak is no where near avoiding pressure as Mahomes. Some of those scrambles were amazing.

Please explain in detail how paying Dak 35 million will hinder the Cowboys from building a top defense.

Lol.. It should.. Considering CZ told me last year Dak is better then Brady lolllll.

Who is the guy that said Dalton would play better than Dak and lead us to the playoffs?

Which two QB's did you say would be better than Mahomes the year he was drafted? Please refresh me with your expert QB analysis skills. :lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2:
