Yeah but note who was in that trade - Goff. Goff is a peer of Wentz's and Goff had to be packaged with two #1s just to get a veteran QB and dump his contract.

You think like the Eagles apparently are thinking. You think Wentz = Stafford when in reality Wentz is way closer to Goff in that trade scenario.

Stafford is the best QB of them all. Then I take Wentz, then Goff. Probably wouldnt even want Goff.

Ya I remember that "great" QB that in a game from his own 4 or 5 yard line drops back to pass and when moving to his left to buy some time he throws the ball and has a completion for like 20 yards except the whistle blew because he didn't know where in the end zone he was and stepped on the end line and got called for a safety. I remember another time when that "great" QB took the snap and turned to his right and tossed the ball like a pitch out to a RB except there was nobody there and since it was a backward lateral a defensive player picked it up and ran untouched for about 30 yards for a TD. Or how about when that "great" QB was under center and takes a snap and keeps back peddling and to avoid a sack he throws the ball at the back of his center then the lions got nailed with an illegal touch of a pass which was on a 3rd down so with the penalty yardage made it 3rd and like 22 and then he bobbled the snap on the next play and lost the ball. Living in a NFC north city I see the lions twice a year and have seem way to many blunders by Stafford that in my opinion out weight him being called Great.

You will find out. You are definitely one of those QB challenged fans. Like Romo, Stafford was in a bad situation for a bad franchise and had to try and do it all.

I've always been a big Romo fan and there's no way that even if Romo's and Stafford's circumstances are similar, that you're going to convince me that Stafford is any where close to being the QB that Romo was. Here's the first thing of many to think about when trying to compare the two. At no time did Romo give up on his team and asked to be traded. That one comparison on character alone beats all of the other differences between them. I'm completely lost on what makes you think you know more about QB's than me or anyone else. If anything you appear to be a football challenged fan.

The Eagles hold the #6 pick in the first round of the Draft, so they are not forced to go with Hurts as their starter. They are, however, in salary-cap hell, projected to be $41 million over the limit in 2021, according to OverTheCap.com.

They had to move Goff because of the contract. Lions wanted no part of Goff, hence why the Rams had to throw in an extra first rounder on top to make the deal work.

Even if Wentz is better, he's not better by much so when Goff almost has negative value in a trade I am not sure how one concludes Philly might get a nice haul for Wentz.

Yush, they are oranges hehe. Seedless oranges are the best.

went to the store to buy a pack of seeds for my seedless oranges, it was a pack with nothing in em. My question is how did they know there were 100 ct in there.? makes you go hmmmmmmm.......glad i didn't get the 1000 ct. one.

The point was pretty simple. Romo and Stafford both played for franchises that couldnt provide them with the team around them they needed.

Which is 100% accurate. I wont argue otherwise as its not debatable.

As far as asking to be traded, I never said anything about that.

Wentz is a good young QB in his prime. Its as simple as that. Some team will pay for that.

Goff, yah they had to throw in extra to get Detroit to take on that big contract. Still for Detroit its a great deal. They get a nice haul to rebuild and at least have a decent QB to play while they do rebuild. And Goff will have some value when his contract is up and will be tradeable.

Wentz has a similar contract. So teams wanting him know that Philly really wants to get rid of him, he has a Goff like contract, and Philly is against the gun because they owe him a 10 million roster bonus in a few weeks that will muck up their already mucked up cap.

They’ll get something for him but it won’t be some big haul, certainly not a first and a second.
