Somebody didn't watch this year. His problems go way beyond protection issues.
No I did watch him play last season and the issues started with him having a poor o line. He's not as mobile as other QBs and needs time in the pocket to play at his best. His confidence was eroded playing behind a bad o line with banged up receivers and without the innovative play calling of his new Head Coach.

yeah what are the odds of that lol

Behind that line he may be healthy all season. Honestly think the odds are fair Philly gets that 1. I dont like to admit that either.

Ok, so he is so good that the team most familiar with him would rather give up picks and pay the most amount of dead money in history rather than fix the WR/OL situation and keep him?

TWO teams were interested in Wince. THAT WAS IT. One was serious, the other, not so much. Good luck Indy.
I have to believe that Chicago was playing hardball and wasn't going to give beyond a third round pick to acquire Wentz. The Eagles probably wanted more from the Bears since they're in the NFC. When the Bears passed, the Eagles took the next best deal.

Well, we know that if he does not make a turnaorund with Reich, he is done. I will be interested to see if he can turn it around.

Same here. If Wentz can’t succeed with Reich and that Colts team, he’s done for.

I’m honestly curious to see how things work out.

I could give a flying you know what if Indy goes on to win the next 3 SBs and Wentz challenges Mahomes as the best QB in the league. Great for them. Why should we care over here in the NFC? It's not like The Jones clowns will have us in legitimate contention in say....the next 25 years!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Yeah it's overpaid because you making an emotional observation instead of a logical.

If the colts management and coaches legitimately believe that Wentz will be a solid 4 year starter for them than 4 years for 100 million is a good price that allows for continued roster development and flexible cap/restructures

That's not emotional that's just basing what my eyes have seen. What has Wentz shown you that leads you to believe that he will have 4 good years? If we are being honest....you take out 2017 he's been pedestrian. I guess the hope is that he will be the next Ryan Tannenhill....but for every Ryan Tannenhill there's 10 other guys who never are the same again.

I get it...you're trying to make this deal look better than it is. It may end up that way. He goes to Indy and becomes the best QB in the league. Maybe it happens. But I can only base it on what I've seen.
