Comparing a kid playing a tad over 4 years to a retired veteran whose been in the league 13 years is ludicrous!
Dak hasn't even reached Romo's second
half of his career which would be 6.5 years.
Compare the two's first 4 years to make it valid! It took Romo 4 years to take Dallas 13-3.
So you are taking into account Romo's first 2 years where he didn't even play????? Yeah, that makes sense. How about comparing the two in their first 4 years of actually starting:
Romo (55 games)
1,178 Completions 1,857 Attempts 63.4% Comp % 15,045 Yards 8.1 Yards Per Attempt 107 TD's 55 INT's Team Record 38 Wins 17 Losses .691 Win % 2 Pro Bowls 1-3 Playoff Record
Prescott (64 Games)
1,363 Completions 2,071 Attempts 65.8% Comp % 15,778 Yards 7.6 Yards Per Attempt 97 TD's 36 INT's Team Record 40 Wins 24 Losses .625 Win % 2 Pro Bowls 1-2 Playoff Record
Dallas Team Record by Year when Romo started:
2006: 6-4
2007: 13-3
2008: 8-5
2009: 11-5
So it took Romo his 2nd year to reach 13 wins but nice try. Oh, and Romo actually had a better win % in his first 4 years when compared to Dak so when looking at all stats both QVB's are relatively comparable in their first 4 years.
