Dak isn't a bad QB, but the guy hasn't won anything that makes him worth 37 million. What has he won? Good guy, but the dude will not bring us a ring.

I know this thread is similar to previous threads, but I beg of you Jerry. Do NOT sign him to a new contract. I'm good with a QB in draft and having him learn behind Dalton for a year or two. Dalton is cheaper and almost as efficient.

Jerry won't sign Dak unless Jerry caves, which is always a possibility when it comes to Jerry.

As for a ring, there are bigger issues keeping the Cowboys from one than Dak. The defense has been a running joke for the past decade. Dalton won't win anything and the likelihood of Booger hitting a home run targeting another QB in the draft is quite slim given his track record. The only good QBs since Aikman were accidents.

Keep Dak, let Dak walk, the results won't get better. They may get worse but they won't get better - not with the same two jokers calling the shots.

NOPE sorry no one can be elite behind that OL. that 4 qb carousel ie no threat to pass, and bad defense and questionable playcalls that got the offense so in the hole it never had chance to establish a run game..get over it ,its team game and add covid and 2 lower leg injurys and he nearly got 1k..id say using 2020 as any example is hatorade troll level posting brah..

Of course they paid zeke to be the CenterPoint of the team as he has been from 2016-2018 but 2019 they handed the keys to the offense to Moore whom had an infatuation to be pass happy team and couldn't consistently call or scheme run plays into is passing scheme..it was disjointed, most of the run calls were vanilla, stuff you call for a FB..

the timing could not have been worse and if thats the direction they wanted to go showcase Dak and leave the newly paid RB on the sideline or running poorly designed fullback plays..well thats not on zeke.. he played well in 2019 despite that but it all fell apart as the entire team fell apart..yes the fumbles were major concern but really he had to games B2B mad et appear worse so he didnt fumble in 13 games not exactly an issue going forward..

chat happens..

lol. I'd say your arrogance is the definition of hatorade level posting brah.

No I think math does not work regardless of what average QB you are looking to overpay. I’d say the same thing for Kurt Cousins, Jared Goff and Dak Prescott. They are all average QBs who are not worth the premium price tag they are demanding.

LOL. W R O N G.

Whatever, you make no counter argument. This is like that scene in family guy where the guy gets in an argument with a donkey and the argument always ends with the donkey going HeeeHaawww.

Wow, I get a donkey reference. As usual more arrogance & hate.

He doesn’t hear you. He didn’t with Elliott or Cooper either. Dak is his guy.

In 2016 Dallas had the 8th best defense at 20 points per game......in 2017 they were ranked 9th at 20.8 points per game (yet the team record dropped from 13-3 in 2016 to 9-7).....in 2018 they were ranked 7th at 20.9 points per game (team record was 10-6)....in 2019 they were ranked 9th at 20.1 points per game (team record was 8-8)......

....so while the defense has maintained a ranking between 7th and 9th while giving up between 20.1 and 20.9 points per game........so once again something else is blamed but Dak.
No, it’s the 5th at 19.1 pts per game allowed.

No, it’s the 5th at 19.1 pts per game allowed.

Different site had it at 8th with 20 points per game. That said, here is the season, defensive ppg, and Dallas team record:

2016: 19.1 ppg (5th) 13-3
2017: 20.8 ppg (13th) 9-7
2018: 20.2 ppg (6th) 10-6
2019: 20.1 ppg (11th) 8-8
2020: 29.6 ppg (28th) 6-10

Offensive Ranks (ppg)

2016: 26.3 ppg (5th) 13-3
2017: 22.1 ppg (14th) 9-7
2018: 21.2 ppg (22nd) 10-6
2019: 27.1 ppg (6th) 8-8
2020: 24.7 ppg (17th) 6-10

Interesting to see the defense from 2016-2019 (4 seasons) only had a 1.7 ppg difference from lowest to highest allowed so the Dallas defense has been fairly consistent in those years yet the Dallas offense saw a difference of 5.9 ppg difference from lowest to highest output........and the highest ppg year for the offense was in 2019 yet the team could only muster an 8-8 record in spite of the defense playing well.
