Pitts, Surtain II or Farley? Who's the Cowboy?

Pitts would be hard not to take. The offense would be crazy! Only problem is you just signed Jar to a 3 year contract. If he wasn’t hurt you could try and trade him.

I think it’s Surtain. They will think we are “fine” at LB and OT.

Pitts is an elite talent at the position, but unfortunately and/or fortunately we have some pretty good TE's here already, one we just paid. And offense isn't really their problem. He would be a luxury pick for a team that can't afford it. Besides, I highly, highly doubt he makes it to us at 10.

Depending on who the are able to sign in FA could/should determine who they choose between those 2 CBs, if they're the pick at 10.
If they sign a quality starting caliber CB, Farley should be the pick as he offers a higher ceiling but needs time to develop.
If they sign a JAG at CB, than Surtain should be the pick as he has the higher floor and is starter ready.
If they resign Awuzie, I assume they go Farley, but probably should go Surtain.
If one of them is selected ahead of us it makes it easy to decide. ;)

My gut says Pitts and Surtain are gone.

If they stay at 10, the pick is Farley. Sewell if he falls (which I think he may).

Either way, need and availability don't match in this draft, and the team is going to need to get both creative and lucky to make it as productive as it needs to be considering the gaping holes on defense and refusal to sign real free agents.

I think it's Surtain or Farley @10. I don't think Pitts even makes it to 10. You look at the two teams in the Superbowl last year and what they did at the TE spot. Someone is going to trade up for Pitts.

Like others I think Denver is after a CB and will take their choice of the 2. (Farley seems the more likely), I wouldn't hesitate to then take Surtain if he is still there. Either of the 2 corners is the - not safe, but logical pick. Having 2 starting corners locked for the next 5-6 years is a plus, and at a premium position.
Although Pitts is a prospective top talent, I want to lock down the backend of our defense.

Right now, my #1 pick is Surtain. But give me any one of Parsons, Surtain, or Farley and I'll be happy.

I think if Denver wants to go CB, they'll draft Farley. They will be stuck facing Mahomes and TyFreak for a long time, so no doubt they covet elite speed to cover Hill.

Pitts could be better then gronk. You dont take good players (the cb's everyone loves) when a great player is sitting there for you. Pitts will be gone tho so it wont matter.

Mac Jones.

Close it.
not sure if your kidding, but actually..if we are at an impasse with Dak come draft time, then I am on board with Mac Jones at 10. I know its high, but IMO, he is my 3rd rated QB in this draft just behind Lawrence. I think WILSON is the best QB in the draft. So its Wilkson, Lawrence and then Jones. IMO Fields and Lance are very raw. Only reason they are projected where they are is because of Pat Mahomes and teams want that quick fix..they wanna find lightning in a bottle. They aint it.Give me Mac Jones and call it a day. Unless we sign Dak. If we sign Dak, then I want Surtain I think. His body of work is unmatched.
