Per PFF (via Undisputed) this morning, they mentioned that Dak was rated as the #3 MVP in the league in 2020 during the 5 games he played.

But, we should trade for Sam Darnold? Lol.....

Why would anyone listen to these morons? Don’t you know they’ll say anything to get a reaction. Anything. You don’t actually listen to these people do you?

Yeah all that value has brought us 1 wildcard win in 5 years.

I'd rather have Zeke and the OL rolling over Dak and his 400 yards and 4 TD's against a crap Giants team.

Who is the real mouth breather here? You get presented with Data and you look at it all the same way. Like there isn't different factors for that data.
So the CLOWN who told us all that Dalton and Dak were equals is lecturing me on how to view “Data”?

Tarred and feathered.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

Drew Brees was never elite, right? You still haven’t confirmed that. Another BRILLIANT take from our resident know-nothing coward.

And how many playoff wins did Peyton Manning have through 5 years, Bozo? Should the Colts have gotten rid of Peyton? “DURRRRR BUT DA DATA!!!!”

I agree that Dak was the MVP: Most Vulnerable PLayer......and that was proven in the Giants game.

No one gets MVP trophies on 1-3 teams. Even with all world stats. Now if they were 3-1 he would have been #1 on the list.

Here come the mouth-breathing idiots to bleat about how Dak being #3 in the MVP race is preposterous considering he missed 11 games, all the while completely missing the obvious point about his value.

Furrowing their brows in a vain attempt at understanding football.

Much like the forthcoming of the name calling children who do not hide their undying love of Dak.

People pointing to his record vs our backup QB's records are completely omitting the fact that the defense improved over the course of the season, as opposed to how historically bad it was to start the year...

I got you! Good point, in 2017, Wentz posted an MVP season as well. He basically ran away with it but unfortunately, I think Tom Brady was awarded the trophy cause he was able to play the entire season. Yeah, Eagles gave Wentz a new mega deal because he was so good. But he's been traded now. Oh wait..........

PFF also said he was right there with Goff in terms of drop in QB rating from first to second progression. The fact PFF is now tied to sports gambling and sports gambling bets on things such as how much Dak’s next contract is going to be and who will win the MVP, the integrity has gone the tubes.

If both OT Penei Sewell and CB Caleb Farley are gone by the time the Cowboys 1st round pick comes up at #10 (and if Dak is still demanding a $40 - $45 mil / year contract by draft day), the Cowboys should trade down into the 1st round and pick up an extra 2nd round pick. They should then use that later 2nd round pick on this QB...

https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Florida_logo.gif Kyle Trask, QB, Florida
Height: 6-5. Weight: 239.
Projected 40 Time: 4.8.
Projected Round (2021): 2-4.
View Ranking History
3/2/21: Trask put together an excellent 2020, dominating Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas, plus also carrying Florida to a win over Georgia in which he threw for almost 500 yards. He also was very good against Alabama in the SEC Championship, throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns - plus rushing for another two. Trask's lone bad game of 2020 was against Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl, but he was playing without his top-three receivers and star tight end Kyle Pitts. An ankle injury during training cost Trask participating in the Senior Bowl practices.

Three directors of college scouting and a national scout told BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 that Trask is a better pocket passer than Justin Fields, in part because Trask lacks mobility, so he has developed good pocket awareness by default. An AFC general manager told me they think Trask will be a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Trask has serious pocket-passing ability for the NFL. He is very accurate in terms of impressive ball placement, timing, field vision, and decision making. Helped by a powerful arm capable of making touch passes, Trask put on display some natural passing ability in every game of 2020. Trask's lack of mobility and teams viewing him as a statue in the pocket are hurting him, but some team sources think Trask could be a riser in the interviews.

8/29/20: Florida's offense improved in 2019 when Trask replaced Feleipe Franks. Trask could have beaten out Franks for the job a year earlier if it weren't for an injury suffered in practice after a hit by Jabari Zuniga. In 2019, Trask made good decisions as a passer and was efficient to distribute the ball to a deep group of receivers.

Trask has a thick build, a strong arm, good height and pocket presence, plus draws rave reviews for his character and work ethic. Trask could be a riser in 2020 now that he has more experience and more tutelage from quarterback expert Dan Mullen (Dak's college head coach and QB's coach).

Kyle Trask would be great to grab in the 2nd round if Dak forces Jerry's hand to put the non-exclusive franchise tag on and trade him.

his arm strength is in question, which makes it difficult for him to complete those sideline passes that are critical in the NFL.

that wouldnt break my heart. If slater was still there I could see that. It also would mean signing Dalton again as insurance

Why do so many people listen to these talking heads? Most don't know *+*+, they just vomit out a bunch of garbage to get fans riled up, then reverse course the next day. Trolling and clickbait.

This is actually true. These guys, most are former players or career talking heads, are all about getting clicks and ratings. They get paid off of that, they keep a job off of those things. They are all Pro Player and anti Owner or Team because that's what the current climate, in the media in general, push.

The truth is that Jerry has every right to run his business in the way he sees fit. I may not like every decision, I certainly curse alot of them, but it's his business. All the rest of these guys, if they were so damn smart, why don't they have their own teams that they could employ all of these "Great" ideas on?

Most of these guys are idiots. Seriously, they were Pro Athletes or Journalist Majors that have never run a business a day in their lives but people just blindly follow them. Hard to believe really.

so you believe PFF when it fits your argument, but dismiss it when it doesn't....its selective on your part. its always been.

The point I was trying to highlight is how absurd the notion is of moving to Darnold, or any other QB really. Someone proposed trading 2 firsts, a third, and CeeDee Lamb for Sam Darnold. Why in the heck would we do that?

Dak is the guy.

Why is Dak the guy? The team was basically 0-4 (yeah, we all know the Atl game was a loss except for Atl stupidity and a one in a million watermelon kick) and leading the winless and hapless Giants by a couple points halfway into the 3rd quarter.

Stats? Is that why he is the guy? Leadership? When was the last time Dak got in the face of a knucklehead and chewed him out? Players do not fear Dak. Players like him. Is that why he is the guy? Is it the way he reads defenses and audibles?
