Anyone else (kinda) hoping we pick O-line at 10?

Or trade down a bit and then pick O-line?

I also wouldn't mind Pitts (he's elite) as he's a gamechanger and would be a decent pick at 10.

Not sure the CB prospects warrant a pick at 10?

I'm hoping we go QB. Either at 10 or more likely in a trade up.

I also know there's zero chance this happens.

QB would be okay with me as well, as long as the prospect isn't a huge reach for the draft position

I would prefer trading up to secure a talent if we were going that route.

If we go defense, I am hoping for Farley at 10. But I think I am more open to trading down to the late teens early twenty's.
If Sewell is available we better take him at 10, but Slater is more likely and I'm ok with that. But if we do trade down instead, I'm not looking OT until the 3-5 rd range.

I'd be more inclined to go after a LB like Collins/Bolton or maybe DT Barmore if they think he's that good a prospect not to wait for the McNeil/Tufele/Nixon/Levi/Shelvin who can be had 2-3rd range.
The way the board seems to shape up, if we want a true quality FS, then it probably needs to be picked in the 27-40 range so not sure how we make that work with out a trade down, or possibly back up. I'll take either Moehrig or Grant.

Would not be upset but would not be thrilled. Myself I do like Surtain and Farley. I would not be opposed to moving in the 1st rd and adding additional picks. If they move out of 10 I would hope for Barmore

If we don't trade down my preference would be:

OL
WR
CB

So short answer, no, not hoping for it, but I think that OL would give the best value there.

I think Slater would be the ultimate swing offensive lineman and could probably step in day one and play at a high level. Whenever Tryon or Lael or whoever gets hurt he just moves to that position.

If Pitts is available at #10, he's a Dallas Cowboys. That has Jerry Jones written all over it.
I think it's going to happen because Dallas is now drafting best player available, and aside from Lawrence, he's the next generational player on the board.
You just don't pass those guys up to fulfill a need.

However, if he's not available, it will be a corner or an OT. I just don't see any other position worthy of the #10 pick.

I think Sewell, Slater and Darrisaw are all going to be great pros, and I like Eichenberg too, so a 1st round OLman would make me pretty happy.

Me too, I want to rebuild the OL. Tyron was good but he’s a little too old now and I’m not sold on Steele or Knight. I have less confidence in the OGs with the two Connors. I do like Biadasz at C. Honestly they could use the 1st 3 pick on the OL and I’d be happy about it.

if they do some kind of frufru draft with TEs(other then Pitts), WRs, S....to me that’s a total waste. A DT would be nice too and a LB because someone needs to make about 100 tackles next year.

First three picks on the OL?

Hahahaha.

Simple question. No team has invested more in the OL in terms of high picks and money like Dallas has in the last 8-10 years.

What has that won us?

The reality is this team needs to do a better job of hitting and developing on mid round OL. We seem to be the only team that has to use premium picks to get a really good OL.

That's where I am. I don't think fixing a problem that we don't know truly exists yet is the best way to help ourselves this season. We absolutely know our defense has problems. I prefer that we address one of those.

However, if we're at 10 and an offensive lineman is clearly the best choice, I'm not going to cry over it. If nothing else, Tyron appears to be close to the end of his playing days and Williams is not likely to be re-signed.

I'd prefer a trade down in that scenario and take a defensive player, but I don't know if we'll have that opportunity.
