Good QBs are extremely tough to find. We lucked into one, just like we did with Romo.
Our defense is garbage. As long as that’s the case, we won’t win anything no matter who the QB is.
But the solution to the garbage defense is NOT to get rid of your good QB, in order to save money. That’s absurd.
OK, I'm done...lol. I really don't know what other thinks, however, from what I read, is that it is not that fans don't want Dak back, because he is a damn good QB, you have to be to even be in the NFL to begin with.
To me the whole premise is, Jerry, or Booger, what ever the hell they call him, cannot build a good, strong, bad azz, special team by paying Dak what he is wanting. Dak is already filthy rich, he does not need to be payed just because someone else got paid,
that's absurd.
I understand trying to get as much money as you can get while young and strong, however, if you are already good financially and really want to help The Dallas Cowboys as a player (and not an actor on TV) and win a Super Bowl he needs to come down off his high chair and realize what he is asking for will only come back to haunt him if he never wins a Super Bowl for The Dallas Cowboys. And I'm not sure how the fans that say pay him will also feel. It make no sense to go through the Romo days again.
If Dak would tell his agent, "come on man"...and come down on his asking price in order to help the team, I would think many fans would start having better thoughts coming up for The Dallas Cowboy...the team he said he dreamed to play for.
And, I'm not really sure of that.
