I guess my bigger point on Kazee is he seemingly is lacking in football I.Q./awareness back there. For every intercept he grabs...and god knows we need turnovers for this D to hold offenses back...he makes 3 boneheaded plays or misses his assignments in coverage.

So it’s the same consensus of all 32 teams. Our guys stink!

LOL so if he is cheaper than X. Woods, he's an upgrade because he gets picks, does similar other things. Win-Win.

We'll he'd have to go through a physical I am sure. They aren't just going to just sign him if he's still jacked up.

Kazee had seven picks in 2018 and three in 2019. He was hurt after four games last year.

When was the last time the Cowboys had a safety that could force turnovers like that?

for the love of GAWD...why do we continue to try to experiment with players that are coming off a major injury? Its the true def. of insanity...keep trying the same failed tactics over and over until proven right lol...

Achilles injuries are not as bad as they were 20 years ago. He can come back from this and be close to what he was. A good look to at least cover the position and still possibly add to in the draft

You could find this stuff on the majority of players in the league. FYI, fans have no clue on coverage responsibilities from play to play. They always blame the guy nearest (chasing) the ball carrier.

Not my ideal signing, but this gives me a glimmer of hope that they intend to move on from the likes of Woods and Thompson.

Still, I think they ought to find the money for a leader and enforcer back there....

You could find this stuff on the majority of players in the league. FYI, fans have no clue on coverage responsibilities from play to play. They always blame the guy nearest (chasing) the ball carrier.

He's about the same caliber as a guy like Woods, but will give you a similar level of play for cheaper. Can play slot or either safety spot. You need at least one of them on every roster.

If Woods had 7 interceptions in year two and 3 interceptions in year three, we wouldn't want to let him go.

Someone said something earlier about how they want to fill holes with bodies, and replace those bodies through the draft.

At the rate of one, maybe two a year.

Its like chasing your own tail.

Thats all this is.

Spend the damn money for an enforcer and leader....which this defense very badly needs.

I guess thats supposed to be Quinns job though since they are already so much better just because of his arrival.
