Yes he did but I was reading a tweet that pointed out how he played zone with the Colts as opposed to man before he left the Vikes.

Guess I'm wondering what are fans expecting? We are/were NEVER going to sign any of the TOP players that are signing now. Most of the mid-tier players are still out there so still have plenty of time and players before saying we are NOT going to help the D.

While I agree with that, what's eating at me is many of these guys are signing for much less money and years than expected.

It makes what they are paying dudes like 54 and 21 even worse.

I think the bottom line here is they are stuck until they can shed these underperforming contracts.

It completely seems like a market in favor of teams, not players....making these impossible terms Jerry agreed to for his buddies that much more frustrating.

He's right though. Feel however you want about Awuzie.....he was our 2nd best corner on this team last year. Some would argue even our best. Now he was still a need because I would've had him play slot this year but corner looks even more depressing now. Gonna need a vet.

He wasn't a top corner but he was a starter, now more than ever Cowboys need Surtain, Farley, or another corner....
