It is interesting watching our strategy against the backdrop of the division. You have two teams in the Skins and Giants who see themselves trending up but with clear holes and they have attempted to fill a few of them with quality players. You have the Eagles, clearly in some sort of rebuilding mode/restart dumping their franchise QB who also lacks cap flexibility to make any real solid moves in FA.

Now, looking at the Cowboys, we think we are the Giants and Commanders but act like we are the Eagles. LOL.

it males me wonder why they even signed Dak to the mega deal when they are not going to help him at all by even fielding a competitive defense.

That's quite the list. I'd argue that in the last 5 years, we landed only two impact FAs - Cobb and Zuerlein. Aldon Smith was decent. But man, the vast majority are total, unadulterated wash outs.

And our response to these failures? Do the same thing again. LOL.

worst part is our 2019 class performed after they left with the exception of Cobb who got hurt. Covington and Hyder were productive rotational pieces for their new teams

I think Adoree Jackson isn't a shut down CB, but he's been a quality starter & consistent player. I think he's a tick better than Awuzie, so if they can get him cheaper than Awuzie, it'd be a win

In his career of 6 seasons, he has a total of 1,255 total snaps....or an average of 207 snaps per season......yet another impact player that is almost 30 years old and has barely played. Go Cowboys!!!!!
