When you have an injury history, have the entire yr to prep for the combine/workout and you need surgery, it's a huge blow to his stock. I cannot see him falls out of the 1st rd, he just is too talented, but might slide into the 20's.
I could see Tampa, Buffalo, Kansas City, the Jets, and Jacksonville taking a flyer on him. I feel for him. Now the nasty rumors will start.

Surtain’s ranked higher but he may now go off the board earlier.

I was wary of him already. Just not worth the risk at 10. Good news is there is a corner who is, as well as half a dozen who are good prospects later in the round/second

should be off our board completely. If he is sitting there at 44, please hogtie Jerry and throw him in the closet till pick is made.
It depends what's the issue and if its major. I've seen nothing to suggest his football career is over...I'd definetly draft him in later rounds if available.

I had so many question marks for this kid. One was his injury history He couldnt finish the 2019 season because of his back had off season surgery then He sat out all of 2020. Now after a year off to recover from his last back surgery He now right at time of Pro Day decides to have back surgery so no one can see him work out hmmmmmm.
Im removing him from my draft board period to much of a chance to take him if the first two rds.

What is a lumbar discectomy?
Lumbar discectomy is a type of surgery to fix a disc in the lower back. This surgery uses smaller cuts (incisions) than an open lumbar discectomy.

Your backbone, or spinal column, is made up of a chain of bones called the vertebrae. Your spinal cord runs through the spinal column. The bones help protect the cord from injury. Discs sit between each vertebra to provide cushioning and support. Large nerves called nerve roots lead from the spinal cord through small holes in the bones called foramen. These nerve roots send and receive signals to and from the body. The signals are sent to and from your brain through the spinal cord.

Sometimes the outer wall of one of these discs may dry out and weaken with age or injury. When this happens, the soft, inner part of the disc bulges out. This is called a herniated or bulging disc. This bulging disc can press on the spinal cord and cause symptoms such as pain, tingling, or weakness in a nearby part of the body.

During a minimally invasive lumbar discectomy, an orthopedic surgeon takes out part of the damaged disc. This helps ease the pressure on the spinal cord. Your surgeon can use different methods to do this. With one method, your surgeon inserts a small tube through the skin on your back, between the vertebrae and into the space with the herniated disc. He or she then inserts tiny tools through the tube to remove a part of the disc. Or a laser may be used to remove part of the disc. Unlike an open lumbar discectomy, the surgeon makes only a very small skin incision and does not remove any bone or muscle.

say no to Farley a big red flag this isnt his first back issue. Which means;;;;;;;; With the 10th pick of the 2021 draft the Dallas cowboys select from Virginia tech CB Caleb Farley! Unless of course Kyle Pitts is available then that's a Jerry thing to do.
