This team desperately needs another run stopping DT and a FS who can get turnovers and stop long passing drives. Between FA and the draft, the defense can be greatly improved. There is still time, let's not panic.

My guess is that Stephen already took a bite out of said doughnut while Jerry Jr. and "Shy" put their hands all over it as well.

No not really. Even last season. McCarthy took over all of a sudden we signed to big guys for the DL. And drafted a guy who got his hands on more footballs his rookie season than Byron Jones whole career.

Why bring him in then? This one doesn't make sense when you could sign or draft a better player. Not saying they sign Kearse but this is why they get beat up on Sundays...get good players not just bodies to say they addressed an area.

He didn’t suck here, he just wasn’t used enough. Glad that old regime is gone
