Nah, still think it's a money issue. The doctors were there too and x-rays and checkups can be done right there. This was planned well in advance. Mo' money, Mo' problems.

You want to go beyond the team doctors though - you want to send whatever you have to get multiple opinions. Those folks have schedules that maybe could be disrupted for a top player but not for FAs like this

Or maybe the Cowboys offered too little money, which frankly, seems like the more likely answer.
I don’t even think an offer was on the table. Allen hurns left and we signed him a few days later. And he was healthy.

My guess is the Cowboys wanted to do another one-year prove it deal and Kazee wanted something longer. I don't think it was money because I think agents know exactly what the Cowboys are looking to spend.

That would have (should have) been known before the visit then no? What kind of clown show are we running

How would they have know the current status of those guys achillies with having their doctors look at them?

His value is only around $2M and he's still recovering from an injury.....how much lower can they go.

MALIK HOOKERDB, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Colts S Malik Hooker (Achilles) is out for the season.
Hooker's injury is a blow for a Colts secondary that shut down the Vikings in Week 2. Julian Blackmon filled in for Hooker and will presumably start going forward. Hooker in 2019 led the Colts in safety coverage snaps, recording two interceptions, but the No. 15 overall pick of the 2017 draft simply cannot stay healthy. He will have to prove he's healthy before getting bites on the free agent market next year.

It's money. History tells us it's usually money.

The Cowboys have a salary bucket in mind and if the player wants to fit into it, then they sign. If they don't, they move on and visit other teams and if they can't find more, then come back. I believe that happened with Cobb.

We don't know what his value is. Darian Thompson got a two year deal but only $200,000 was guaranteed with a first year base of only $1,000,000. Maybe the Cowboys think they can get Hooker (or Kazee) for that.

He may sign eventually, he may not. But I think it's obvious it's money right now. Hooker thinks he can get more. Maybe he can. Maybe he can't.

I mean how many times do we have to see this before to understand what is likely going on? There's little chance both would leave Dallas without the Cowboys knowing the status of their physicals.

And here's what will happen. If Hooker and Kazee sign elsewhere, many will be back saying, "Oh, I wouldn't have paid that" or "He's overpaid". LOL.

Why are you assuming to know what happened? Stop. Unless you work for the Cowboys or are Hookers agent everything you’re saying is speculation. Stop trying to prove it as fact. The facts are. Hooker and the other 2 came in for visits. And left. Considering the DC of the team isn’t even in the building what’s more likely? That we didn’t offer a contract prior to talking to the new DC of the team? Or that we offered them a bag of chips and a how do you do? Come on

Xavier please come back

The same old history, its a bad joke

Nooooo, not Xavier Woods again... this man learned his tackling technique watching the Running of the Bulls ....... you run back and looking behind you all the way to see where the runner is coming from. Then try tackling him from behind. It is a bad joke.

I think If they were so interested and wanted him they’d offer him a contract before going to Detroit. Hopefully we offer hooker a deal.
