agree, but based off of 2020, we couldnt stop the run. Teams will attack us the same way until we stop it. We better figure this thing out. Luckily this draft is pretty loaded at corner and defense for us to come away with several good players for Quinn to work with. This camp will be very vital to getting this figured out. I think Im warming up to the Kearse signing just from a ST standpoint. Apparently he was very good. AND HES NOT COMING OFF INJURIES. lol..so theres that.
Oh Im well aware, been paying attention for at least the last 25 minutes or so.. jk brother,,, I have always stated this is no short turn around on D.
This offense needs some work to,,,, we just think that signing Dak somehow fixed this offense... that is far from the truth,,

Dont forget how Tampa offset KC in the SB...they manhandled them up front and with their linebackers. They punished them and Mahommes. He couldnt get the ball out to his playmakers. NOT 1 TD from a pass happy team. SOMETHING needs to be said for this. I think this is how you beat passing teams..with rock solid D. We need to be nasty in the trenches first and foremost.
The Chiefs were without their 2 starting offensive tackles.

I like the fact that at least hes a smaller guy for a safety that can cover wr's and gets his hands on the ball. He has good instincts WHEN HEALTHY. He might be ok if he can stay on the field. It will be key to draft a top notch safety as well and to draft a linebacker and DT that can help those db's not have to cover as long. To date our front 7 is still woeful. Hopefully Quinn knows best what we need up front and the brass allows him the leverage to have a say on draft day.

I don’t know if I’d call the WHOLE front seven “woeful”. Our DE group is pretty good, at LB Smith COULD have a bounce back year if Quinn utilizes him right, and I still think LVE just needs to be healthier. Giff and Berny have promise, but they’ll likely draft one. The main weakness is the middle. Gallimore looks good, but they need a couple of guys with bulk. We’ll see.

A good bet that they will be better than last year.

Achilles recovery for a DB that was barely at the athletic threshold doesnt sound promising to me. I hope I am wrong, even if we dont sign him
While Im hoping for the best, Im also feeling fairly comfortable with the advancements with achilles recovery.
Im not really that concerned with the recovery from surgery, the biggest concern is rehab and everything I have seen and read points to Kazee being highly motivated throughout his entire rehab,, if anyone has anything to the contrary please post a link, because I have seen nothing but positive reports.

I do feel bad for him. 5th round pick, on track for a good payday and tears his achilles his walk year. Probably would have gotten 10 million AAV if he never got hurt

agree. On offense we still need a guy to take the top off defenses. WE also better draft us a an olineman that is capable of coming in and starting. Not sure what you think, but I dont trust our tackles to be ready or to stay healthy.
