They need wideouts in Miami. Also, they have Geseki at TE, who they’re really high on.

Now that doesn’t mean they won’t take Pitts but I think they need a wideout for Tua and want to give Geseki (who is a great athlete) time to see what he can do. That just makes more sense to me. Chase, Waddle, or Smith would be perfect for them.

Agreed. Due to time constraints I only look at positions of need generally. Had no clue Chase was that’s good. His numbers are freaky.

Yeah, he’s a very talented guy at a position that teams these days really need to have a few of. Chase was unreal in 2019.

If Pitts somehow makes it to 10 then Jerry needs to jump on him, no way he pulls another Moss. I’m down for Pitts with Surtain next. Pitts would be the homerun pick, Surtain would be a good pick. Dying for Pitts here!

How do all you Pitts fans justify that pick when there has been exactly ONE player at that position to not bust in league history?

Top 10 TE that is.

The guy basically has to be the best TE in league history to justify the draft position....and I'm fully against the whole media mock draft value thing.

Fact is, they just aren't the "matchup nightmare" that they were in college.

NFL players can handle them.

He would be wasted in Dallas anyway. At best he would offset the production of who we already have.

No doubt... but who could take him prior to 10? Possibly Cincy but they need OL bad and Sewell is a generational talent himself.

Falcons? Maybe.

Detroit probably won’t because they just spent a top 10 pick on TJ Hockenson.

Panthers might.

Broncos used a 1 on Fant, so probably not.

There is a chance he makes it to 10.
I'd assume Pitts to Miami would make sense, but maybe they go WR.
I think he's a better prospect than any of the WRs....and some say he would be the top WR if he wanted to be listed as such.

Nothing will sink the season quicker than QB and OL problems. Do you really trust all these guys coming back from injuries to stay healthy? Besides having good tape and many college starts, Slater tested as a freak athlete the other day. Top 15 OT RAS out of over 1000 tested since 1987.
Has to be the pick if he is there.

I trust the offensive line honestly. They missed so much time....if they aren't ready now they never will be. Dak is another story.

I've said it time and time again.....you have to go all the way to Tony Gonzales in order to find a tight end that lived up to his 1st round potential. That's scary. If the Cowboys were stacked I could see it. Cowboys are in no position to pass up a corner though or a defensive player.

I would probably take Pitts.

However, they do need WR worse than TE and I’ve heard they like Chase a ton, who is a fantastic prospect in his own right.

Who knows? They could go either way and I wouldn’t be surprised with either choice.

So is it a forgone conclusion Bengals go lineman? You don't get Pitts for Burrow?
If Sewell is there, I think that’s what they do. He is considered as special at tackle as any OT that has come out in recent years. If they truly need to solidify that position, I can’t imagine them passing on him.

But I’ve been surprised so many times with the NFL draft that I’ve lost track of them all.

1. Jax - QB
2. Jets - QB
3. Niners - QB
4. Falcons - QB? TE? CB?
5. Cincy - OL
6. Dolphins - WR
7. Lions - WR
8. Panthers - QB?
9. Broncos - CB?
10. Dallas - ???

So who does this make fall to Dallas?
I think Atlanta. Cincy, Lions, Broncos are the wild cards as they can go in many different directions.

I agree. The only one of those 4 teams that I have much of an idea of is Cincy with Sewell and that is only because he’s such a special player. If he wasn’t in this draft I wouldn’t have much of an idea of what direction they’ll go.

Atlanta, Detroit and Denver are all up in the air. I did figure corner for Denver and then they signed Fuller and Darby. I have heard Parsons to Denver but who knows?

I wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta took Sewell and not the 4th QB. Denver is a prime position for a team needing a corner as many know Dallas desperately needs one. Dan Campbell is an old schooled type pf coach, could see a OL or LB there.

Keep hearing next years draft is not very deep at QB - but it is a year away.
You would think Atlanta would like to grab a QB to groom for a year behind their Vet. But who knows. Denver used to be CB, and yes Parsons would be ! Good pick for them. Detroit - not sure, but a WR to put with Goff seams reasonable...

Oh if he falls to #5 I can see it. I Don't know why I assumed he'd go higher. I actually have no idea what Jets do.
