If it's with a top level guy like Surtain II, that sort of makes sense. Surtain is a blue chip CB and about the best character you could ask for.

Since there are a limited amount of meetings each team can hold, they could use those on guys they actually have questions for.

Not saying I agree with it, but I can see the logic behind it.
