McShay Mock 4.0 4/1/21

I know nothing about this draft outside of reading a few scouting reports, but in the mock posted is Horn the second best defensive player in the draft? I would assume not, so taking him at 10 would be a reach, right?

10 was high for Horn.

After his pro day, I’m not surprised. Especially it’s just him and Surtain that could go top 15

Jaycee Horn would not be a reach at 10. Now I wouldn’t take him over the best OT, whichever Dallas rates better. Horn would actually be a great complement to Diggs, he has the traits of a lockdown corner. I don’t think he’d last after pick 16.
Surprised no one has mentioned Micah Parsons. I actually prefer Horn over Parsons.

The best available players heading into Round 3 would be: Patrick Jones II, DE, Pittsburgh; Jevon Holland, S, Oregon; Payton Turner, DE, Houston; Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia

Jaycee Horn and Christian Barmore would be an excellent draft for the first 2 rounds.

There's zero chance Dallas passes on the best lineman in the draft with both starting tackles coming off serious injuries.

Pretty easy. Didn’t flash until late. Misses a lot of tackles, flashes to show his gap assignment. Struggles against bigger interior lineman.

He’s a beast with so much untapped potential. But late 1st / early 2nd is right where he belongs.
He is being projected to be a mid first round pick though. It just sucks because not a lot of good DTs in this draft.
