What is Jarwin's worth on trade market?

Hypothetically, Pitts falls to 10. Based on how the board is looking. Pitts will be available at 15. NE needs a QB which is still on board.

Do you trade 10 to NE for 15 and 46. Pick Pitts at 15?

Trade Jarwin for what? 4th rounder, 5th rounder?

Thinking for this is that Pitts comes in at TE on rookie deal cheaper and better then Jarwin. Funds saved on Jarwin can be put into signing another FA (Wright, Sherman or Breeland) to help out D where ever draft didnt.

You dont take Pitts under any circumstances. If he is there, let some other team blow a high first round pick on a TE.

ONLY way Pitts would make any sense is if on draft day you trade Cooper and Gallup and get enough of a return to pick again in the first round. Use the pick and the 25 million you save in salary to sign defense in FA.

Pitts is an elite player
But I somewhat agree that if you take him you have a trade set up
I’d trade Gallup even though I love what he brings but may get expensive

Jarwin not likely to get much of anything in a trade coming off of injury and not proving himself yet.

Jarwin and Schultz are more than fine.

And yet I’d still take Pitts if he’s there. Yeah defense needs help but he’s a ridiculous talent. Surtain is nice but won’t save the defense. So let me watch Dak, Zeke, Pollard, Amari, CeeDee, Gallup and Pitts go nuts every game. Good luck out scoring that team.

He has no value. Its one of those things where he has more value to the Cowboys than he does to other teams. At BEST you'd probably et a 6th rounder.

Why would a team trade for him when they can draft someone of his caliber?

He is an elite player at the lowest value position in football at the biggest bust position in football. He checks 1 of the 3 boxes you want in a high draft pick.

Just think about this....................If the Cowboys were to use the 10th pick on a TE they would have had 2 top 10 picks in the last 15 years and used them on a RB and a TE?

Two of the lowest valued positions in football. We are already seeing the Zeke error as we speak. When you are up THIS high, you have to use them on the premium positions.

Had he played last year and built on what he showed the year before he might but I don’t see anyone giving much for him so might as well keep him another year and hope he shows enough that he then has some trade value

I agree. What happened is the year before he just started showing flashes of what he can become and then in that next year where he was suppose to take the next step he got hurt so yeah right now his value is killed.

I think the talent is worth the pick at 10
I don’t think he fits as well here because we are a WR driven offense

Pitts falling to 15 seems highly unlikely. I don't see a big market for Jarwin, especially coming off an injury.

Gallup might only net a 5th round pick this year. He's worth more to keep than his trade value. Why would anyone give up anything more for a guy on the final year of his rookie deal? He's also been a number 2 for 2 years and a team could draft a cheaper option. During the season, his value might increase to a 3rd or 4th if a team is desperate for a WR.

Now that carolina has Darnold maybe NE can be coaxed into trading up for Fields or whichever QB is left at 10. New england just paid 2 other TE's so I doubt they are using a 1st on another

Pitts and Jarwin don't really have anything to do with each other. Pitts would be more in competition with the WR corps. You don't draft a guy like Pitts to not give 100 targets.

If it comes down to Pitts vs. another TE, Schultz would be the odd man out. Easily repeatable skillset, and about to need a new contract. He'd be the guy you flip a late-round pick for.

The ability to extend right now and spread the cap hit into this year is why he'd be attractive.

Not to mention the fact that he'd be an upgrade for something like 20 teams in the league.
