Pitts is a luxury we can't afford

The only player the Cowboys will always lament not drafting was Randy Moss. Pitts is not the freak, there was only one freak.

Randy Moss was a freak but would of he been as good with old Aikman, Stoerner, Anthony Wright, Ryan Leaf, chad Hutchinson, Quincy Carter and Drew Henson slinging him the ball. Or would he of been Raider Randy Moss.

Ask yourself would you take Travis Kelce... George kittle in this offense?

not saying pitts is those guys but if he’s abs can’t miss as any then why not?

it’s an offensive league.... if you told me this cowboys offense could be “chiefs light” I’ll take it.

while we put up nice offensive numbers it isn’t like we couldn’t use the help vs better teams or for that latter in the red zone

Pitts is not making it to 10. If Pitts is there at 6 he is either getting picked or someone is trading up to get him.

Has we addressed our defense competently then it would have been a luxury to afford. Urban, Watkins and Kazee won't cut it.

Moss was catching balls from Randall Cunningham and Brad Johnson in Minnesota (1998/1999). Also, remember that we signed Cunningham in 2000 and wasted 2 first-round picks on Joey Galloway.

Having a historically bad defense last year and not getting any impact free agents on the defensive side of the football make it impossible to draft Kyle Pitts, should he fall to us. Unless they decide to follow up the draft with signing a KJ Wright, Geno Atkins, Richard Sherman or someone of that ilk. Would they be willing to spend for a big name player in free agency? Hasn't happened since Brandon Carr. But if they wanted to go all in for the 2021 season, they would draft Pitts, go heavy defense with the rest of their picks and then go out and get an impact free agent that would help make this a viable defense to go along with what would be an outstanding offense. Then we'd be cooking with gas!!! What say you?

Zeke over Ramsey in 2016 was the luxury we couldn't afford since RBs have poor longevity. TEs actually have very good longevity: Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten. Plus CBs in this draft like Surtain and Horn aren't close to the caliber of prospect that Ramsey was in 2016. This isn't that much of a luxury pick.

I say wait for the draft and look for other teams cutting players we will want. The Fat Lady has not sung.

If Dallas does decide to pay Gallup, it would likely mean they’re going to move Coop. The truth is, they can’t afford both. This means after this season, they suddenly won’t look so explosive on offense.

Unless, of course, they had another player capable of putting up 1,000-yards entering just his second season in the league, which they would if they took Pitts.

Many people think Pitts is a hall of fame type talent. You don’t mark him off as “impossible” to draft.

If Pitts is there at 10, and you think he’s going to be a hall of fame receiver... what defensive player would possibly help the team more in the future?

Not too worried if they take Pitts. Cooper and Gallop will likely be gone in 2022, so resources can be reallocated to defense.

Don't y'all talk shyt about the defense next year...all y'all lusting over Pitts, not one word.

Already did this with Lamb and the brakes beat off of em by scrub teams.

yup... Jets made us look like Vic’s

If Superman falls to you you take him and let the chips fall where they may. You might waver a bit on Batman.. but Superman? You draft him every time..

No one can guarantee any of these guys will be great. Taking a TE with a top 10 pick is bad football. Especially when its not even close to a need.

You need defensive lineman to change defenses.

There isn’t really any of those types in this draft.

So drafting a corner isn’t going to make us that much better if at all unless they somehow have a Richard Sherman type of impact but that player most likely won’t have any real impact being a rookie and all.

QB, LT, CB, DE are the 4 prime positions in football.

Once again you show that you know nothing at all about football.

Here, educate yourself about the game: https://www.blitzalytics.com/post/most-valuable-positions-in-the-nfl

Even a broken clock is right twice a day and you arent even right that much. Wrong EVERY time.

If you actually said something that was accurate, I would be so thrilled I would give you a like. Only it NEVER happens.

Corner is a premium position based on what you're asking them to do.

Learn football please.

Being ignorant is one thing, staying ignorant is what fools do. Dont stay ignorant. I even went out of the way to find an article to educate you as you clearly have no clue about the game.

You must be some 13 year old kid just learning about the game. Its the only explanation for your ignorance.
