Am I crazy because I’d take chase or waddle at 10 if they drop over surtain/horn. Then I’d trade back up into bottom first and get best d player on the board preferably a cb.

Chase is a beast - we got plenty picks. I don’t need 10 players. Just 4/5 decent ones.

Especially if Pitts and Sewell are gone.

Use your best pick on a WR. Then trade away your other premium picks like your two thirds to go grab a CB.

You’re not looking big picture. Cooper can be cut after this year to save what 20 million. Also if don’t want resign gallop can use rookie. Gotta look toward future not just this season. I’m take best player regardless. I can trade back get cb/lb that falls.

I am looking at big picture. The reality is this team isn't going anywhere if they don't do something to address the pitiful talent level on defense. They sat out FA, largely doing what they do, bargain shop. You seem to be looking at the future of the offense only.

The only offensive guy I consider at 10 is Sewell. Maybe Pitts because he's such a freak. I am not blowing premium picks to trade up for Pitts or Chase. I am not taking a WR at 10 (Chase won't be there anyway).

I think D. Smith will be the wideout that drops and I'd 100percent take Smith.
I'd also take Chase.
Both wideouts are extreme talent.
Not a waddle fan though.

I think the strangest thing to me is all of the obsession with Pitts.
Pitts will be a good wideout or a really bad blocking tight end.
Therefore, if Pitts were a pure wideout, he's #3 on my board.

1) D. Smith
2) Chase
3) Pitts

Both Smith and Chase have won championships and played 'NFL caliber' matchups and excelled.
These guys are ready to be stars. Smith won the MVP of the title game only playing one half, which
I'd assume is the only time in history that that's ever happened?!?! Absolutely the best, most explosive
offensive player in the draft.

There are 3 offensive guys that I would take over defense at 10: Pitts, Sewell, and Chase.

Those guys are rare talents and if you can get them on your team, you do it. I don’t take any other offensive guy over defense. The talent difference isn’t enough to ignore the defensive need.

I think that Smith and Slater are both technically a smidge better than Surtain/Horn/Parsons... but not by much. Those 3 defenders are really good prospects themselves and any one of those 3 would be a great start for the defensive rebuild.

But I would delay that rebuild by a pick for Pitts/Sewell/Chase.

I could agree with this. Pitts/sewell/chase if on board otherwise get one the cb

Forget the names. If you believe a player is an elite prospect you don't pass on them at 10 for a player you don't believe is elite.
