Which LB you prefer?

Jamin Davis. Pray to the Draft Gods that he is there at pick #44.

Really? I'm trying to find something on his tape that's shows he can be a starter in the NFL more less a 1st or early 2nd round pick. He plays the pass good, blitzes well but can't take on a block, can't dissect a run play in traffic. That's not going to work for us..we need to bolster our run defense too (worst in league). If i'm wrong please post something...I hear the hype but I just don't see it.

People have forgotten what a real LB looks like or plays like in their zeal to tell us how “this is the new NFL” and the only thing that apparently matters is playing glorified safeties at LB

That's one of the things I noticed in his draft profile:

"Collins could use more aggression in his play demeanor"

You can see it in his games too. I wouldn't say he's timid, but he's careful. Parsons, for his warts, plays with a different intensity

His 84% looks special though, better than most. Guy has great instincts, good zone cover LB, best run stopper in the draft
Im not saying I don't like him. He is a good player. There are some things with him I have concerns about

CAMERON MCGRONE

MILO EIFLER

MONTY RICE

CHAZZ SURRATT

Buddy Johnson,

Garret Wallow,

The linebacker position is tough this yr, yes, nice talent, but also a lot of questions:

-Parsons is still learning the position, has immaturity issues that could be scaring off teams.
-JOK-might be more of a safety, nickel linebacker
-Collins-why isn't he more physical with that size? Where do you play him?
-Davis-1 yr wonder, why didn't he make more of an impact prior to last season?
-Bolton-more of a football player then athlete. Is he just a 2 down player?
-Cox-one dimensional cover LB that is a liability against the run
-Browning-has all the athletic traits, has little instincts, why were lesser players starting inside over him?
-Moses-looked like he lost all his explosiveness after his injury
-Werner-he is just a strong-side LB?
-McGrone-some injury questions and lack of coverage abilities
-Surratt-new to the position, struggles getting off blocks

All these LB have valid question marks, which further highlights these players need to go to proper fits for their skill sets.

For Dallas, I lean towards a MLB that impacts the mentality of the entire defense. Parsons can do that, but his personality in Dallas may not be the best fit. I liked Collins until I watched him getting knocked around. Bolton fits, but he's like a London Fletcher..slow.

I don't know man, I like these LBs, but how they fit with this team is challenging to project.

Short sighted view of this team has always been an issue. Not all the LB’s have the traits to be successful but some of them do. And they might not be big contributors year 1, but after a year in the system the goal is that you trust them enough to get rid of Smith and maybe LVE next year.

For me McGrone and Werner are 2 guys that I would love to have. Werner I think is a little further along because he was asked to drop into coverage a bit more. But go watch the tape on McGrone. Physical and explosive. Good instincts. These are guys that can be developed. Probably have to be creative to get both in round 3. Don’t know that either get to the 4th round.

Parsons is the only top-5 talent at the LB spot.
I'd assume Cowboys will have him in their top-5.
The guy is flat out all over the field and absolute beastmode.
His off-field stuff doesn't scare me now that he has a kid, daddy duty! lol

My second favorite guy is Azeez Ojulari!
