Not sure I completely agree with this take. We don’t know what the make up of the starting 5 will be in the secondary or on the line. One could make the argument that Anthony Brown would be your starter across from diggs especially with new staff coming in

if a chance at Sewell is there you got to take him. He probably unseats someone on line day 1. Slater I’m not sure about but I don’t think there’s a large gap between the 2.

that’s said I’m in the LB camp with first pick or a trade down but if it ends up being CB I won’t be upset. They are all huge needs along with 1 tech.

I just don’t believe horn and Surtain are these can’t miss prospects and are head and shoulders above cbs like melonfeu ? Or equivalent

Star, if Brown or Lewis starts at CB we're in trouble, we've seen him get beat like a drum already, if Smith and Collins are back and plays well, Sewell and Slater sit, moving either to gaurd becomes a question.

lewis definitely will be your slot corner the only question is whether they go with brown or not.which I’m not sure I want .

There’s no guarantee that Surtain or Horn start right away or even can have a lot of success. Horn is aggressive and as a rookie I see him being a yellow flag magnet and Surtain like Diggs played with a ton of talent and will have growing pains.

I don’t think drafting Sewell or Slater is depth in fact I think drafting them sits a current starter again my preference is LB at 10 or trade down but this draft is not about #10 it’s about the entire draft. We need a 1 tech to go with 2 corners and a LB and OL and we got 10 picks to get an improved roster

What's says Collins' good inside And on the left side? A lot of moving on the O line. I'm not ignoring the lb move down, it's not something I would do, because I believe CB is the bigger hole of the two, moving back into the first after getting Surtain is where I'd address linebacker if one of the top 3 are still there

Well see what happens you sure have a lot of faith in Surtain I think he like Diggs benefited from a damn good defense and will struggle some in pros but that said if he’s the luck I’m ok with it

Round 2 ? Who? You taking a flyer on Farley with the injury history he has and here? The percentage of that player being a starter falls greatly. Yrs I know Diggs, but he was a player that some thought could be a first, don't see that in this draft.

I surely don’t want to see a Claiborne repeat or a taco repeat. I want LB one that can play downhill and has 2 good legs. To answer your question though Farley has injury concerns I wouldn’t take him unless he fell to round 3. I’d be ok with Melonfonu who the cowboys have been connected to or even safety

I'm with you at linebacker, I want the corner first though. the main problem is the FO wont address some of there needs in FA so that they can take BPA players no matter position.

He was talking earlier on The Fan today. This may be just conjecture on his part, so take it for what it’s worth, but he says that he thinks the Cowboys “final four” that they may realistically have a chance of drafting would be listed in this order:

1. Sewell
2. Slater
3. Surtain
4. Horn

He suggests that if any of these guys are there (or all of them for that matter) that if we pick at #10 that we would take one of them IN THAT ORDER.

He suggested that the Cowboys believe that Pitts will be long gone before the Cowboys pick.
