Not for me. from what I have heard, he is the real deal physically and he will likely play at somewhere around 340/350 in the league. His agility is ridiculous, for a man his size. If you watch the film at the Senior bowl, you will notice the edge rusher he is going against in practice from Ohio State, wearing number 0. That's actually Jonathon Cooper. Watch how easily he controls him, like nothing.
If we miss on one of the top OLs and we are looking at a Defensive player at 10, I'd probably think about trading down and maybe taking a Horn and then taking this kid in the 2nd or 3rd. If Horn or Surtain are not there, I would be just as happy with a Basham or a Platte and then just looking at one of the many, many CBs available in this draft that we can get lower. This draft is the deepest CB Draft I can ever remember in all my years. I actually hate the idea of drafting a CB at 10 overall, unless it's Horn and that's only because he is an exceptional athlete, better then Surtain. Honestly, I'd rather go get a CB later in the draft. I would absolutely look at Brown in the second or later. He has upside like an Ogden or a Smith but he is so raw. He needs time and with a Smith who is in decline but is still able to give us a very high performance when healthy, it's almost a perfect development situation. Besides, who knows what Collins is going to end up doing? I would not be afraid to take this kid.
