With half the talent
But a bigger waistline so there’s that
I like woods though
I’m hoping he can develope into a nice rotational piece
My fear is the team sees him as more
Its gonna be just like Jeff Heath and Tyrone Crawford.....solid rotational piece but forced to be much more here and gives them some straight confidence to completely neglect the position in free agency and draft.

That’s my fear
Heath is a nice guy to have on your roster
He’s a solid player
But he’s a player better suited to be depth, ST and a bridge to a better player
Jerry doesn’t get that with very few exceptions your goal should be always looking for more talented players at every positions

I don’t ‘need’ or want anything. Other than for the homer’s to drop their revisionist history attempts to help themselves feel better. Drop that crap.

It sure wasn’t a country club in the 90’s. Not until Jimmy left. You’re mixing your years together.
Not a country club?

What would you call “The White House”?

One other big bit of revisionist history comes from people missing the good ol’ days of two-a days and “asthma fields”

Free agency, salary cap and the NFLPA union would make it impossible for Jimmy to succeed using the same methods as worked in the early 90s. Every team is a country club compared to a those days. Hell, almost everything is “optional” now.

So, it’s pretty disingenuous to compare the two eras when it comes to culture when the previous culture would result in massive labor unrest and social media uproar with both player and fan protests over player mistreatment.

A guy like Jimmy couldn’t survive as a head coach in 2021.

So when regular folks are asked to cover a position at work they should tell their boss your doing me no favor moving me to that position?! o_O
He didn't say Crawford should have said that to the coaches, and there is no indication Crawford did say that.

That said, of course if an employee is uncomfortable with a move the company asks him to make he should schedule time to talk it over with his boss.

New theory: the cowboys defensive line has been a pile of dog crap so long, that people have been conditioned to believe that Tyrone Crawford is and should have been anything more than solid depth in the NFL.
Newer theory.....you don't know sheet...

“earned his contract”

That’s hilarious. We’re you sucking your thumb with the other hand while you typed it?

:lmao2:
Anyone that has felt the pain of being a player knows what I mean. Your carpal tunnel doesn't count.

Crawford collected over $45 million for his ‘pains’. Cry me a river. Some have that pain without being set for life.

You’ll need to show me proof that the White House was happening under Johnson’s watch. The organization went to crap under Jones and Switzer.

One other big bit of revisionist history comes from people missing the good ol’ days of two-a days and “asthma fields”

That’s actual history. No revisions needed.

And yet, some teams still miraculously find a way to win? While the Joneses fail for decades with zero consequences. With guys like you buying merchandise and season tickets, win or lose.

A guy like Jimmy couldn’t survive as a head coach in 2021.

He doesn’t have to. Clearly. He’s put his time in and is living the good life not giving a crap about anything. He’s won.

I was almost certain the White House existed before Switzer came, so I started looking for articles that show that, and the funny thing is literally everything I found online simply referred to it as being in the "90's". We do know it existed during the Switzer years because of the timing of when the scandal broke, but from what I've been able to find I can't say if it dated back to Jimmy or not.

Nothing wrong with valid criticism...but if you are just hating with no valid points or criticism then yes that's simply hatred. Not sure why people even care about being a hater...its not the worst thing in the world to be called....
I can agree with that.

Is your carpal tunnel acting up again? Sorry for your pain.
Its pro sports, most don't deserve it, get over it.

actually you don't know what you're talking about, Crawford was the player that did a lot of the dirty work that allowed DLaw to be productive, that's been mentioned by folks around the organization.
to be fair DLaw saw a lot of double teams when people around here were literally crying that he needs more sacks. These same people never cared about defensive pressures, tackles, pursuit, effort, nothing. Just sacks and contract.

edit: part of my point was that I don't see Crawford doing much for DLAW come gametime when they have to line up, hardly anyone was taking double teams away from dlaw

Too many fans do not understand the term dirty work so it is forgivable that they have not been endeared to Crawford for his entire career. Dude laid it on the line and his injuries will attest to that, played multiple positions that required weight gain and or loss.. Some cold, cold day when you are nice and comfy Tyrone Crawford's old body will remind him of the cost of doing NFL dirty work. He allowed others to get the glory and yes he earned that second contract. One thing money can't buy is health just ask Steven Jobs.
