Parsons is a freak of nature but has character issue. . One of my best friends has family out there and said he was a gigantic pos growing up.

Hopefully he has matured through the years

But they don’t, the league has a grey area of code of conduct and doing something as dumb as pulling up a womans shirt in public while being under investigation for DV for a woman or knocking out a DJ AFTER beings suspended for DV or bullying a security guard AFTER being suspended for DV or being kicked out of a club for trying to assault another DJ could have all easily resulted in another suspension. He’s lucky all he for was a slap on the wrist when he had to fly to Goodells office after the security guard incident.

21 year old men, aren’t kids. I did stupid crap when I was younger too, went to jail for it on more than one occasion and lucky it didn’t cost me my job. But I don’t make excuses, I was a man who made poor decisions and deserved my punishment. I also learned from my mistakes and became a better person.

On the other hand, you have guys like zeke who obviously learned nothing and a direct quote from Parsons saying he won’t apologize for things he did when he was younger (as in a grown man in college). What a piece of crap, actions speak louder than words, let’s hope he proves it with his actions because his words leave a lot to be desired.
At the end of the day they are Cowboys and I will root for them until they are not. I've seen a lot worse in my lifetime. Salud

Fair enough.

I will say though, he picked Taco, and admitted to it.

He was also there when they took Hill over Thornhill.

I'm honestly not trying to be a downer man. I tend to be more positive than not.

I just really wanted Surtain or Horn.
I think we all wanted Surtain or Horn. I know I did.

I'm very nervous over who we are going to start at CB now. I'm hoping for Richard Sherman now. Wishing we spent the money on Patrick Peterson.

That said we were 31st in the league against the run last year. We stopped no one. LBers help with that more than a CB would.

Lol guys from a skill set standpoint jaylon is still a beast even after the injury. How parsons reada plays etc will tell whether he ends up being good or not.
Jaylon is a beast?
Jaylon was a beast in college, now he is more like a Buffon, with his swipe after a tackle 7-10 yards down field.

Yeah...I am hoping hard that Sherman is on the phone...like soon.

Yeah, it sucks, but this was out of our hands. I would've hated to trade up for either CB, and after that, it was either Parsons or Slater.
Last game of the season, Denver was beating the Raiders late in the 4th quarter. They gave up the lead to take Surtain. Smart move!

Believe it or not, I still root for zeke on gameday. The one exception was Hardy, for better or worse that dude was pure excrement and I wanted him to fail miserably. The jury is out on Parsons, I have a hard time rooting for any player who sexually assault their teammates and has no remorse.

I love this pick. IMHO, Jaylon and LVE will have bounce back years because of Quinn. Add Parsons and Neal to Gifford and Bernard, and our LB group looks pretty solid to me. Tomorrow night, chase contributors at DT, CB, S, and Edge. Polish off Sunday with OL, DL and a speed guy at WR to return kicks, and we have a damn good draft in the bank!

A defensive tackle who doesn't get pushed 5 yards off the LOS would help a lot more...............

I didn't care for Hardy either. Jerry went to far on that one

I must be crazy. It’s like people didn’t watch our defense get ran all over the last couple of seasons by any good team.

we literally cannot stop the run at all.

and some of y’all think it’s not something that needs fixed.

not to mention… parsons having excellent blitzing and pass rush ability.
