Come on 5 sacks in 2019. I like how you add them together. Like he didn't progress. 14 TFL in 2019. 109 tackles and a FR, There's enough tape to know this kid is a very good LB! Great athlete, great motor, great ceiling. They got a good defensive football player.
Come on What? Like whatever you want, or don't. I don't care, at all, what you think of the stats. They are what they are. Would it be better if I said, 5 sacks in 2019, 3 of the 5 came against Rutgers and Memphis? No sacks against Iowa, Michigan, Michigan St. or Ohio St.? I mean, the stats are the stats. I didn't make them up and they are all there for everybody to see.
The question was, "what makes you think he's a play maker". Maybe stop crying about the stats and just answer the question. Have you actually watched him or are you just talking smack because I have. He's a good tackler, although I do see him run himself out of plays and he has the same issue I see with LVE and Smith, which is, he doesn't scrape or stack all the time. He's another run and chase LB, which we have a lot of. He's a Bobby Wagner in our scheme IMO and that's fine but that guy is not the 12th overall pick in the draft IMO. That guy is a 2nd or 3rd or 4th round guy.
We'll see what happens with Parsons but to me, it's more of the same. We don't understand how to invest wisely and build a team, going on 30 years now.
