New England traded their 46th, 122nd and 139th picks to the Cincinnati Bengals for the right to Barmore at 38. We could have offered 44, 115, and 138 for Barmore.

The Cowboys could have packaged their three 3rd picks (which look like Jags) = 489 points which is equal to the 42 pick. IMO the Niners might have done it for 43 since they gave up so much future draft capital.

Quality > Quantity. Parsons, Barmore, and Moehrig/Joseph would have been a blue chip draft.

Second day of drafting was a **** show. Dallas first move out of the gate should have been going for either Moehrig or Barmore.

Spineless organization

Hate this year's draft. Yes we drafted defense but horrible selections outside Parsons

I like the Joseph pick though. I am disappointed we didn't get more agressive and get more impact though.

We could have traded our three 3rd round reaches for him with the Niners for their 42nd pick and still grabbed him. Parsons, Barmore, and Joseph.

LOL. It might have been feasible to get both depending on the Niners!

The only thing I can figure is they didn't like those guys as much as we did, because there's no way anyone wouldn't have done that otherwise right?

Belichick is usually great at drafting defensive linemen.

Yeah thats a good barometer. Not DL but I also remember stories of the Pats were gonna take Jaylon also. Lol, hope that makes you feel better.

Agree.....I thought for sure they would have packaged a couple of 3rds....and move up into the 2nd round. But I think they saw the same thing I did....a lot of players started going way earlier than expected....pushing down talent.

Surprise 2nd and 3rd round picks........

Aaron Banks, G (Notre Dame)
Dayo Odeyingbo, DL (Vanderbilt) (Had him in the 3rd...instead of 2)
Tutu Atwell, WR (Louisville) (Had him in the 4th...instead of 2)
Pete Werner, LB (Ohio State)
Josh Myers, C (Ohio State)
Kellen Mond, QB (Texas A&M)
Josh Palmer, WR (Tennessee)
Monty Rice, LB (Georgia)
Robert Hainsey, OL (Notre Dame)
Tre’ McKitty, TE (Georgia)

Moehrig has back issues and Barmore was a an inconsistent situational player who didn’t even start in college.

In my scenario they could have went with Moehrig or Jospeh. I specified Moehrig/Joseph. Both are 1st round talents with question marks injury vs character. Barmore is a 1st round talent who many people on this board are high on.
