Looks like the Cowboys are going to have to sign one undrafted free agent if they want their "Dirty Dozen".

I am perplexed too. I mean I get Stephen spewed this whole we need cheap contracts stuff yesterday but the odds 2 4th rounders, a 5th, two 6th rounders and 7th rounder will all be roster caliber is extremely low. Frankly, I thought it was silly to not use one of our thirds to move around in the 2nd.
It's probably a load of crap, but I took the kids comments to mean they were looking to move up there, but it was for Joseph anyway.

They have other ideas when it comes to safety, clearly.

Watch for us to sign Washington if he winds up undrafted. I think he's sliding due to his measurables.

Yup....feels like a missed opportunity. Dealing up and having 2 #2s......could have been huge. But then again....a lot of players slid.

Yeah based on what they did in the 3rd round and who was there in the 2nd.....that 3rd round pick wouldn't have been a major loss.

And I'm annoyed with the "took this guy too early" talk....I'd like to think they could've traded a 3rd rounder and still got that guy at some point in the draft they got......Stephen really wants to be cheap but he's not thinking practical here. Its one thing to be cheap at the position...but don't just have a guy out there making the team because he's cheap. And that's what I'm afraid of.
