Honestly, I'm not sure.others mentioned that it might have to do with Bohannon facing better competition. im just glad they finally drafted a one tech.i almost fell over when they did.
It is funny to watch the Marinelli fan boys continuously bash Bohanna in thread after thread.

Apparently Quinn and McClay want longer arms on our DL...Bohanna 34"...Tonga 31"
Osa and Gholston also had 34"

latest

So DQ would rather pass on Aaron Donald too?

Donald "only" has 32" arms.

No choice if you mean the draft, the Seahags didn't have a 1st round pick in 2014.

If you mean right now, obviously no DC would pass on Donald.

I was curious why we took Ball ahead of D'Ante Smith too....except that maybe he is more of a pure OT.
Good then start your own thread about that. We are talking about why Bohanna was drafted so far ahead of Tonga. It's a valid thread topic that doesn't deserve to be hijacked by your other questions about other draftees.

Bohanna had the 4th highest run grade on PFF last year for DT’s. I believe Broaddus had mentioned there was interest so they didn’t just draft a body. Outside of McNeil, not much separation between these big guys. They liked him best. Simple as that.
That's what I believe as well... sometimes they just like what they like and that's who they are going to draft.

well Kiper came out blazing guns for Nixon

I liked him too (the read ups)..watching him besides the highlights was not that impressive but Ok. I still think he may find a spot in a rotation and develop, we'll see. I think the learning disability was an issue for most, NFL is hard.

he did.
i'm just saying the league scouts and gms were not as impressed by him as i was.
no way did i think he'd last on the board that long.
100% miss on that one...which is why im not a scout or gm.
So if he becomes an all-pro are you going to come back on and say that you were really smarter than all the scouts and GM's -- since you would have proof here ?
