The defense giving up all those yards is a direct result of the offense giving the ball right back to our opponents after 3 plays every drive until 2 1/2 quarters into the game.
For example, there's a reason the Brown put up 31 on us in the first half and 18 in the 2nd half. You wanna guess what the difference in those 2 half's were?
LOL. do you even read your drivel....too funny....the turnovers may turn into scores...but YARDS....see the TOP, number of possessions, etc. for every game last year.
so lets take a look at the browns game...
browns started the game....first possession. a TD...so how is that Dak and the offense? so the offense starts in a hole right off the bat. they went 69 yards in 4 plays!!! you can't even say the defense was tired. just plain bad
guess what....Dallas came right back and scored...game is 7-7...lets hope we make a stop.
Cleveland second possession: punt
Dallas scores...oh wait. you don't say...dallas is up 14-7!!!! you want a lead. you have one...make a dang stop defense. do it again
but no, they go down score, the game is 14-14....that's about average score in the NFL for the first half...you complain about offense...its a tied game.
yes, third possession Dak got sacked and fumbled....ball at 34. cleveland scores...21-14...but that was only 34 yards...
wait, next possession ZEKE fumbled, but hey Dak's at fault for giving him the ball...he should have known Zeke would fumble, he should have just kept the ball and ran with it himself...right!? because hey any offensive turnover is Dak's fault.
they go 25 yards and score. so 14 points, only 59 yards...so where are all those yards you talking about
and then cleveland is pinned way back in their end of the field on the 10, and they march to the 19 and kick a field goal
TOP first half....13.5 to 16.5....but hey that zeke fumble...if only Dak would have not handed him the ball. if only the OL would protect the blindside...oh well....
and in the first half, they rushed for over 200 yards....I mean if a team gives up 200 yards for the game, they had a bad day...but 200 yards rushing!!! seriously....I get the turnovers....but how is that related to 200 yards rushing. in one half...
in the meantime, before you point fingers....Brady played a game against indy...throws a pick 6 no less...yes a pick 6...but defense holds the rest of the game and they win the game...I mean not just a fumble..a pick 6. in fact he did that three times in 2020...yet, their defense held...they actually played team sport and pulled as a team to victory...what a great concept....no finger pointing..
come on dude...you are just too funny to say 3 minutes in one half equals 200 yards rushing....200 YARDS in one half of play...what's the excuse?
