I've eaten it, but didn't care for it and it was lots of work. My grandparents had one in their backyard growing up but they never ate it. I knew what it was and when they had both passed and we were trying to sell their home my uncle and I cooked some. It's a poisonous plant and you have to boil the leaves and drain 3 times to remove all the toxins. On the 3rd boil you add sliced onion, your seasonings, and vinegar. It tastes like a mix between turnip greens which I love and dandelion salad which I hate. Kind of tastes like a well seasoned weed.
