Peterson is/was an awful blocker and screen guy. Prettty much worthless, unless he had the ball. Zimmer wanted him gone from MINN, because you can't win in today's NFL w/ a back like that. Not sure how he could do it all, because he didn't.

Blocking I cant attest to. Screen game I find hard to believe but Zeke isnt great either. Peterson blows away Zeke as a RB. To say otherwise is to deny history.

LOL .. now you can tell that Zeke hatery and agenda is sipping out of you and the " gig is up " ..!!

:lmao:

I do hate Zeke. Im not trying to cover it up. Murray's 1800 yards did blow away anything Zeke has done here. That is just a fact. When you factor in the quality teammate and leader that Murray was I take Murray every day all day over the drunken Zeke.

Murray: 1860 yards for an average of 115 yards per game. 416 yards receiving for a total of 2276 total yards that season.

Facts are stubborn things! :yourock::oldcouple::oldcouple::flagwave:

Watch out for Kazee on D. His signing / recovery is severely overlooked. He was on track to becoming one of the better FS in the league pre injury and he is still young and in the system that he thrived in. According to the all-too early OTA reports (hell, it's all we've got) he looks like he is all the way back from the ACL. I'm honestly surprised this isn't discussed more.

I think it's the facts of what you said...coming off an achilles and signing for bare-minimum. It could be huge if he plays well of course but the odds are it could not go well. Not like the Cowboys broke down the door and signed the best FA available. They tend to take fliers on guys like this. If it works out, he will go somewhere else and get a comp pick. They aren't paying a safety (even if he is actually good). They never do.

I don't. Only issue I had is the inference that AP does everything well. No idea if he can, but he doesn't.

Can't sign higher level FA's and pay midlevel players high salaries.

This signing excited me. Could be a huge difference maker. Hades, he could play on one leg and be better than what we've been trotting out at S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's fair to take the wait and see approach, especially with bad injuries. Just that watching his tape he looks better than what we have had in a while. Cut the leg off and he's still an upgrade jk

-Though Gregory still is promising physical more tools and potential and isn't a seasoned vet, he's expected to be a big playmaker.
I've heard a few talk of him being more of a rush specialist than full time starter, but i think they also underrate how he plays the run on the edge.
he's quite not Dlaw in that area, but he's not Robert Quinn either. And he certainly needs to be on field far more than what ex-DL coach Tomsula preferred.

- Wilson looked like he was emerging as a playmaker. For one without much NFL game experience, only started 11 games, seems to always be making something happening
vs pass. He wasn't always in right position, but he has a knack for making big play hits, fumble strips, blitz sacks, and INTs.
Once his overall game solidifies and becomes more consistent, don't be surprised if he eventually becomes the field general leader of the secondary.

- i think Gallimore & Hill maybe on brink on break out years, maybe wishful thinking of me, but i saw flashes from them that led me to believe they are developing well.
As inexperience as Trysten is, and as shelved as Hill was per Marinelli's last year, he was getting off blocks and into the backfield in spots and occasions, I could
only imagine what Hill could've been by season's end. Gallimore flashed occasional penetration skills vs run, but struggled overall in that area, and a way to go
as a developing interior rusher.

- I think my pet project Bradley Anae will give off another big impression in camp and force coaches to take it from there, whenever he's lined up
as a pass rusher per Utah, per Senior Bowl, per Cowboys camp, he always impressed and produced.
Some players just outplay their so-so measurables. and workout numbers. Big key will be added special teams play.
Backup reserves are especially counted upon to contribute on special teams. Up against numbers game, an unproven Anae cannot afford to be mediocre on special teams.
I could just cut and paste your post, I feel the same way about all your choices.

Very good list imho.
