Who ever stays? I'm trying to think of a FA who stays...

We just draft guys and dumpster dive in FA.

That's partly why we never break out. We're just happy to be mediocre.

The article is wrong about Basham. If they cut him the dead money is $3.75 million because his 2021 salary of $1.25 million is guaranteed and they gave him a $2.5 million bonus. If they cut him after June 1, the salary and 1st year pro-rated bonus would hit their CAP. That's a total of $2.5 million. Over-the-Cap has it right. But I agree, his CAP impact is the same if they cut him or keep him so why not keep him.

The long snapper has a guaranteed job on the roster. The rest are going to have to earn it.
Ladouceur played in 253 games, two shy of the franchise record set by Witty. That's going to be tough to follow.

Need to identify if any are progress stoppers in camp. Don’t want to cut a draft pick or UFA with potential for a player who will be here one-year.

Say it comes down to Kazee, Mukuamu, and Coyle for one spot. Maybe Mukuamu and Coyle need 1/2 year to be ready for action but you can’t stash those two on PS.

There are going to be some tough calls to make in camp this year. Progress stoppers, injuries, potential, growth rate guessing.

The Cowboys currently sit with 9M in cap space, pair that with some creativity and I think this list could have been more inspiring.

They still have to sign Parsons, Joseph, and the 3 3rd rounders I think. That will gobble up a lot of that 9M.
