I have had 14 strokes and survived. so no worries there.

hate is such a strong word....and on the contrary I love the fact you are a hater...and I am flattered you have followed me for past several years....its an honor to have a stalker
No need to follow. You argue with people all the time, including myself. Maybe those strokes have impacted your memory? Now wipe your mouth.

While it is still partially true that defense wins championships, never has the offense been more of a factor in the NFL and they made certain of that with their rules changing. This is by design.

Coryell's teams didn't win any trophies but in the fun to watch department, they had few equals. It was The Greatest Show on Turf that interested the fans, not the #1 ranked D, which they had at the time.

The vast majority of fans love the offensive side of the sport and that helped create fantasy football, which is a huge contributor in keeping the interest in the NFL where it's been. A low scoring defensive game is a novelty and holds little appeal except for football purists.

We want gratification and we want it instantly, we thrive on action and need it nonstop, the NFL is just giving us what we want and that's been working. They're getting the richest rights to carry contracts in history and that's because of offense and all the stars are on offense. Who tunes in to see Aaron Donald? Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Jackson and yes, Prescott, that's who they tune in to watch. Then there's Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Lawrence waiting in the wings.

I agree.

It is not necessary to lead the league in passing to lead the league’s top offense... as Dak had proven in 2019. Matt Stafford has a team and more importantly an offensive system that blows away anything he had in Detroit. On the flip side, Stafford is easily the best QB McVay has ever had, more so than when he and Cousins had the third ranked offense in WAS or Goff and he were 1st and 2nd in scoring back to back years
I'll be watching out for the Rams because of what you say. I don't see it but I'm more than capable of being wrong.

this is quite true. the NFL changed rules to provide more scoring. more passing was more big plays and more exciting...more scoring got the fringe fans interested to help the league grow fan base (people like you and I would watch no matter what, but fringe fans were casual observers).

so offense became more important and made the QB position more important as a result and thus exploding QB salaries as a result....

its such that now, you can win with an average defense but excellent offense....ala KC. tampa had a good defense and their offense becoming more consistent made it a good team.

I agree and I think FA caused the explosion. Really you can go back a long ways and see the importance of QB and the star QB of the early days. Just Cowboy history alone Roger importance to the Cowboys was big. As you said rule changes made the passing numbers explode and FA made QB pay explode

Your problem is you are unobservant and your reading comprehension skills suck. You even argue with people who are making the same argument as you because you can’t figure out you’re both saying the same thing. Maybe that is the strokes, too. Still need to wipe your mouth though.

You know the answer to that. But as I said; who would admit to such a thing? There's hardly any honorable people out there. I crystal clear remember what I saw out of you and it told me all I needed to know.

So you're saying you don't have co-workers who root for Washington and talk smack when they win? Or did back in Dak's rookie season? Because that's when it was. We were tied with Philly at 4-1 entering the day and Washington was 3-2. Washington winning would give us sole possession of 1st so long as we won our late game, which we did. But as the game was going, you mentioned not wanting to hear co-workers crow about Washington if they won. So did you have co-workers like that back then?

You talk about fear. You seem to fear a lack of control and relevancy. You seem to be attached to the notion that you have everything and everyone figured out—an explanation for everything, a black and white world, and you’re dead serious about it. You seem to need validation for your good guy/bad guy world, and bending others to your will.

Believe what you want, say what you want, and I’ll continue to do the same on my end, and nothing that you ever think, say or do will ever change what I think, say, or do, m’kay? Of course, I’ll probably chuckle occasionally at your arrogance, but otherwise...

No one’s crowning them Karen. Chill. Just speculating on the fact that they might have the best offense in the NFL this year.
You WM's need to show a little more respect to other posters.

I’m used to talking over your head and having to explain things to you. You weren’t good at playing connect the dots, were you.

I've decided to put the troll on ignore. He's not worth the time.
I yank him somewhere and feed him cheese, while the real conversations happen between adults. the thing with these trolls, lonely trolls is to just give them a little something they like and they run to it and engage and stay engaged. they don't even realize what's happening to them...its how I train my dogs, with a piece of treat.....this is their treat, so they are being trained.
