Can we stop being sensationalists and speculating without any facts just because some posters don’t like his demeanor? If he does something worrisome then we can worry, until then let’s not assume that routine things are signs of doom. Haven’t seen anyone be this scrutinized this quickly in a while.

I don't think it's wrong to believe a guy with a history of character issues does in fact have character issues.

Some of ya'll thought every year single year was the year that Randy Gregory had finally got it together. He NEVER got it together. It took a rule change for him to have a career. Some guys just don't change from the person that had "character concerns" pre draft.

I'm glad that it's nothing major, but Joseph didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt yet. His issues take time to develop trust. I don't care if he does have a star on his helmet.

So he’s guilty until proven innocent?

I don't believe a crime was committed, so, not sure what you're talking about.

It's more of a "you have a history of causing yourself problems, so I'm not trusting you just yet" kinda thing. I don't think there's anything wrong with that mindset. I highly doubt you'd let someone into your home that had a history of causing problems in peoples homes and 100% trust them right away.

You said he didn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. So he misses a practice and it’s right to assume he did something wrong?

I didn't say he did anything wrong. I'm glad he didn't. I don't know him personally. I only know what has been reported on him and I chose to take that into account. I don't believe anyone would be in the wrong to think that he could have gotten in his own way again like he has a history of doing.

Treating rookies like children until they have proven themselves worthy of being treated like everyone else is the Cowboy way. It's why until the first preseason game, all the rookies have the constant reminder they are not like everyone else by not putting that star on their helmet. Kelvin Joesph missed practice due to illness, no foul, right? Maybe not, but it's not without consequence. The note-takers are keeping notes on everyone. Next week is mandatory minicamp, KJ better be there.

You just joined in February. How do you know what we’ve been thinking for years?

Did you have an account here prior to this one? You wouldn’t have happened to call yourself Aria in that account, would you?

It's funny, because I figured that was the reason since McCarthy had mentioned players being out with an illness. He mentioned it about the receiver position, though, so I didn't say anything.

Thats not a logical argument. Gregory has proven unreliable as a pro, while with Joseph people were just assuming things with no factual basis. You can’t logically condemn Joseph because of Randy Gregory’s actions.

That’s not to say people should blindly assume everything is always good and right. It’s natural to have some concern when a player has a past that shows some problems. But it’s entirely unfair for people to assume things as fact that they have no knowledge of. Fairness means learning the facts before reaching conclusions

I googled and read every article that I found and in no article did it give me a true explanation of what his character issues are, not one. So maybe you or anyone else can help me because I can’t find it. The only thing I see is that he was suspended for violating teams rules and he decided to transfer after that incident. I’m wondering what was the incident, but either so the team didn’t kick him off he left on his in accord. The only thing I keep hearing and reading is that he likes and performs rap musics. REALLY? The big bad rapper.

But yet I haven’t heard anything since draft day about Josh Ball, nothing! The white player with eleven incidents of domestic violence, yes ELEVEN, can quietly go about his business but the young black rapper has to constantly defend himself against hidden and unknown character concerns. Whatever!

Whatever Kelvin did it happened almost two years ago, he is now nineteen years old meaning he was only seventeen or eighteen when he did whatever it was. A child making a bad decision, that’s never happened before.

Yes Mountain he deserves a chance to have people just “let it go” has they have with Ball.

Shame, shame on all you persistent pessimists who went to great lengths to cast doubts on our hopeful savior at CB. The young lad who has withstood the slings and arrows of you doubters is now dutifully vindicated of any wrongdoing! A plague upon those of you who sought to cast doubts upon the character our most recent hero! May gastly misfortune plague you for the rest of your days! Ok, just kidding, ya'all -- we know you didn't really mean it.
