If you were walking with CD through a herd of flesh eating zombies, who you think those zombies are going after.
Those walking dead would be eyeballing that thigh roast, and you could just run your skinny *** right past them.
Its Saturday night, just trying to liven up the party a bit.
If we have a zombie apocalypse I hope they are The Walking Dead type of zombies. Those things are noisy, slow and easy to kill. Would just need some #2 pencils and you'd be good.

Unless you couldnt find a #2 pencil, they would eat my brain before I could find a #2 pencil in my cluttered office.
Maybe a staple extractor would be a back up plan.

Well thats a creepy piece of thigh meat that we all wish we had.

As a lifelong sprinter and weight lifter I am happy to report that I DO have thighs like that. Or at least pretty close. Well mine are bigger cause I'm only 5'7 205 .. He skinny.. I aint.. You just gotta stay in the gym and keep running and you can make it happen. Still I don't understand how anyone could take issue with discussing areas of a player's body that they have clearly worked on and developed. It's what we do.

No, I'm talking about CeeDee bulking up like the Hulk.

We all know men typical fill out as we move through our mid to late 20s. For desk jockeys that turns into a big ole gut and three chins. For professional athletes it typically turns into fabulous muscularity which if properly managed can turn into improvement on already ridiculous athleticism.

True it is also common for 2nd year players to come back bigger and stronger. There are no classes to attend guys can focus on getting their work outs in with trainers on a full time basis.

College football players attended classes?

Wow, who'd a thunk it!

Im not taking any issue if thats what your implying, its just my way of saying the man has been busting tail this off season.
Creepy piece of thigh meat is just my way of saying man has been putting in a serious work out program.
Sorry for the translation or mis communication error.

Sorry I was not referring to your statement but to the other guy's @CowboyRoy ? assertion that our even holding discussions about the dude's thighs was "creepy." The kid has obviously been puttin in work and it is appropriate to recognize it and speculate on how it will impact his game on the field.

Yeah save getting on the juice there isn't much a kid is going to be able to do to transform his body at age 18-21. He's pretty much going to be what Mother Natures says he's going to be in those years. As they move into manhood the T-level goes up and they are better able to fill in muscle naturally. Then sprinkle in professional training table and workout regimen and you should generally see a huge leap forward for these guys physically.

Hopefully it helps him break more tackles. He was a YAC monster in college.
Yep. Unfortunately that was the one part of his college game that did not translate over very well in his rookie year. But I fully expect him to find his YAC-groove again.

And while CeeDee didn't have much excess body fat before, if he lost even a bit more and gained even a bit more muscle, it will be noticeable.

It's not just size, either, getting a bit more muscle, depending on your body type, can look more impressive than it is.
The other day I was going into a local gardening center and had on a slightly tight shirt, when I got to where some people were waiting in line, even though I had room to get by easily, they moved aside more to let me through. I'm only 180 lbs on a 6-3 or so frame, but with some rounded biceps and traps, I look bigger and stronger than I really am.

Camera angles can also alter our perception of what somebody looks like too.

Still it's probably he's gotten a bit bigger.

Yea, anybody with any muscle and low body fat is going to look bigger than they really are, apparently Stallone only weighed 165lbs or so for Rocky 3 but he clearly passed for a smaller heavyweight on film

That's hollywood for ya. Smoke and mirrors. Lotta those guys are shorter/smaller than film makes them look.

On the NFL field some guys can look smaller than what they are compared to the beasts next to them. It's all about perspective, especially on the screen.

Interesting numbers.. I don't watch much of the combine (because I think it's silly but I understand why they do it) .. but guys are notorious for training to the test so to speak where the combine is concerned so it is certainly conceivable that he bulked up for those measurements but that bulk was not his natural weight at that time. Once he got to training camp and he started working that artificial weight probably fell off him because no one can deny he looked a lot skinnier than 198 as the year wore on. Again the hope is that as he matures he becomes more of a natural 200-205 pounder who can shake free from more tackle attempts made by grown men than he was able to last year.
