Why make a comment like this? It makes zero sense. All we’ve had so far is OTAs and minicamp. He’s doing all he can do as of now and apparently performing great. Newsflash! It’s the off-season where no games are played. LOL. This is nothing more than a negative comment and an opportunity to gripe.
No, it’s literally impossible to “dominate” OTAs in the sense that the author makes it seem.

This isn’t flag football. Dodging cones in IG videos and showing some fancy footwork in practice doesn’t constitute “domination”.

You can say he’s working hard. That’s a reasonable comment. But to say a guy is dominating when he’s not even facing resistance is extremely hyperbolic

I agree you need to show it during the season when it counts but crapping on a guy who is out there busting his butt and showing quickness and speed gets to be a bit much. Amazing around here is if it where a negative story many here would be all over it, something good and people will crap on it and competing to who can come up with the best negative spin. Really gets old. But hey that tend to be the nature of some. There are a lot of good reports coming out on various players and I agree in the end all that matters is what they do when the games count but myself I do like seeing camp reports and seeing guys put in the work and getting positive feed back from coaches.
Not crapping on the guy at all, simply pointing out that game results are the bottom line.
I think we can all agree on that point?

Oh, I agree, need to run the ball, and Moore did a poor job last season with the run game. I understand playing from behind and needing to pass. But even in the close games, he abandoned the run too soon.
This is one of the reasons I do not like Moore as the OC, too much like Garrett was when he ran the offense. Except the year Murray had in 2014.
At times I think he is improving and am ok with him, but overall I am not. This will be Jerry's next downfall, he thinks of him as he did Garrett. and that may not be good.

when your OL is not opening holes it is damn hard to stick to the run.

Wasnt he dominating and in the greatest shape of his career last off season?

Listen I love the guy when hes on. But its time to make it work when it matters, not OTA's.

Zeke had 244 rushing attempts last year. That's only two more attempts then he had in the season he was suspended for 6 games.

Moore isn't even trying to run the ball.

We're 25-5 when Zeke has at least 100 yards rushing. That's very telling as to where this offense should place it's focus on between rushing and passing.

and of those 30 games 20 happened prior to 2019 when the offensive line was still a juggernaut. Heck the way the line was in 2016 and 18 Julius jones or Troy Hambrick would have put up monster numbers. probably better than Elliott but I don't care for the dude so my opinion on him is slightly jaded. The most important part of the offense IMO is the offensive line.

And DAK is every bit as important to the team and probably more so because of the position he plays.

There are two ways to read that, Elliott is back where he was in 2016 or the run D is not any better than they were in 2020. In OTA's.

The O in OTA stands for Organized and real football is what happens when it isn't.

I am giving Elliott a pass for 2020. He lost his QB and too many key OL and he did not look like he was in the shape I have seen from him so far in 2021. I think he lost some confidence and so did Moore.

I will wait to see how he plays with the band back together but I am expecting a re-motivated Ezekiel Elliott.

OL had 9 combinations, OT both gone, back up at LT gone, 3rd string playing, defenders living in the back field it is damn hard to run if you can't get opening to run in. Moore is not dumb enough to bang his head against a brick wall. running means nothing if your RB are struggling just to get back to the line of scrimmage

There is nothing you can tell from RB's in OTA's. I wouldn't read much into this!
Well if he was fat and out of shape and looked uninterested that definitely would be a problem. So yeah, you can tell if he seems to have matured and invested in his offseason - thats a big thing for Zeke because we know that has not necessarily been the case in the past.

He is one of the most talented backs to play in a while - if his head and body are right that's a big deal because he has the skills to be the league leader!

Zeke averaged 4.0 yards per attempt last year. He was averaging 4.1 yards per attempt in 2017 (the year he was suspend for 6 games) and with a beasts O-Line.

Andy Dalton had games last year where he threw 47, 48, and 54 passes. Andy Dalton!

So, no, the O-line's health wasn't the only issue last year. Moore just wants to focus on the passing game too much.

Dallas was playing from behind most of the time but thanks for your coaching views
