There are enough former Cowboys players who turn on their former team to negate Spears' opinions. I'm holding out hopes to win more games than we lose this year. The number of injuries we'll have to overcome with a 17 game schedule will, most likely, become a very demanding requirement.

Let's not get overly disappointed if the coaching and players are somewhat limited in their success. I expect to take another year, at least, for this team to be a serious contender for any conference championship status. Even a mere divisional title would be outstanding, imho. The issues to overcome will be victories, in themselves, if it actually comes about. Having said all that, I still can't wait for the season to begin.
